Hey guys! Here is a short little one-shot I thought up on the way home from church. Hope you enjoy! If you want me to finish it, Private Message me or review! If I do continue this, a winter widow romance will grow...
He felt nothing. The former pain in his left arm had subsided to a numb, heavy burden. The dim light didn't help his sight in the dark room. He suddenly felt a wave of dizziness and his vision clouded.
His mission.
His target.
He stumbled at step further, his right arm grasping the banister. Strangely his little episode hadn't made a sound. His brain cleared and once again his mission was fixed on his mind.
Neryashlivvy, James
Start the mission. Find the target. Dispose of her. HER.
Soldier. He was the Winter Soldier. His target, Natalia Romanova.
The building...
Her house.
He steadied himself and his movements became agile and swift. He took the steps four at a time, his trained ear listening for ad sound. He stood in the hallway.
Three rooms. One target.
A tile creaked.
A pistol clicked.
He opened the door from where she stood, arm poised, gun pointed, gaze locked.
"Natalia."
"James."
A rush of memories flooded him and groaned in pain.
Something was wrong with him.
Everything was wrong.
The ground swept from under him and his cheek hit the floor.
Natalia lifted her foot delicately, placing it at the small of his back.
"So we meet again."
Horrible, right? R&R as usual.
