Naruto screamed as yet another contraction wracked her small body with unimaginable pain. She'd kept this hidden ever since that night she'd been attacked, and was now giving birth in her apartment. There was another contraction, and the large seal on her belly began to glow with an unholy light as something beneath it struggled to break free...
There was an ear-splitting roar as a massive nine-tailed fox broke free of an apartment building and went on a rampage. Frightened villagers scrambled this way and that as the massive Biju stomped through the village. Ninja who were feeling a strong sense of deja vu raced forward to confront the creature.
The younger generation was held back from the fight, but this time it was those who had been held back the last time who were holding this generation back.
In the Hokage's office, the Sandaime who'd rather swiftly figured out what had happened after he'd put all the little clues he'd not bothered to pay attention to until it was too late together stood barking out orders left and right.
"You!" he yelled to one of the masked ANBU "Retrieve the infant if it is at all possible."
"You!" he barked to another ANBU "Find the father, and hold him until he can be publicly executed if we survive this."
He then turned to his advisors.
"Hey Danzo, I seem to recall you saying something about wanting to sacrifice yourself for the village a while back..."
