I go by the name of Christina Hawthorne and I'm the chief nurse at Richmond Trinity Hospital. I go to walk out the front door of the hospital but don't make it. I'm called back in to fill in for Bobbie who's apparently sick. 'Dang' I say to myself so I go down to the café and get me an energy drink to keep me awake. I head back up to my office and relax when Tom Wakefield walks in.
"What are you still doing here I thought you left?"
"Yea so did I. I got to the door and was called back to fill in for Bobbie who apparently has the flu. So I'm covering for her. What are you doing dressed up?"
"I have a date to a black & white affair tonight." He told me.
"Oh whose the lucky girl?"
"Someone I've been seeing for a while she's a lawyer."
"Oh well have some fun."
"Thanks and you have fun also." He told me as he left out my office and I didn't know why but I was jealous of that lawyer. She got to have him and I got to stay in the hospital not that I didn't love the hospital but I wanted to get home and curl up with my red wine and a good movie with my daughter.
I laid back and turned on the computer and decided to check her emails and saw that her mother-in-law emailed wanting to know when can she come by and see Camille and so I emailed her back and told her this weekend was fine. I checked a few more and I received a page. I looked down and saw that it was Tom. 'I wonder what he wants now.' I thought and called him back.
"Wakefield." he answered.
"It's Christina you paged me?"
"Yea I'm coming in and need your help."
"With what?"
"I have a couple who passed out on the dance floor."
"Fine." I told him basically because I can't say no to him and I was bored. He informed me that he would be to the hospital in ten minutes. I heard rumors around the hospital about Tom liking me but I didn't pay any attention to them. I can't say I don't find him attractive. While I waited for him to get here I prepared a room and waited there wasn't much else I could do until he gets here.
