Reply to Everlight18: Here's to hoping that you're reading this, because you've disabled your PM feature, so I can't reply to your review, so this is my one shot at replying to your amazing review to "Robin's Captain"… Thank you so much! I seriously cannot express how happy your review made me, I am still grinning like a loon, you are amazing, and I can't even… just thankyousomuch! You're really, really nice, and your reviews always make me smile a lot, so thanks! You totally made my day!

"Sorry."

Those were the first words that Luffy had said to Franky after he joined. Luffy look so chagrined, so regretful, that Franky instantly responded, "Hey, it's okay, Luffy-bro," and scooped him up into a hug.

Luffy wrapped his arms around Franky… multiple times… and shook his head, the motion brushing his hair against Franky's neck as he replied sadly, "No, it's not. I took you away from your nakama because I was selfish."

Franky frowned as he set Luffy down again. "It's not your fault." He replied, before adding indignantly, "Besides, you stole my favorite speedo and touched me there just to make me your nakama, you can't just regret it now!"

"But you didn't want to come." Luffy replied, his voice cracking slightly as he added, "Now you're probably lonely because I was stupid and…"

"Luffy." Franky pushed Luffy away slightly (a surprisingly hard task), and frowned as he surveyed the boy's red rimmed eyes. "I want to be your nakama. This isn't a bad life. You helped me to realize my dreams. I like being with you, okay? It's not bad, me being here."

"But… I took you away from your precious people." Luffy replied sadly. "From your home. I gave you a bounty, which Sabo said normal people don't want."

Franky filed away the question of, Who's Sabo?, and instead sighed, "The bounty's cool. It shows how strong I am! I've got new precious people, with you guys. And my home… it's always been on the ships. And the Sunny, it's my ship, so it's my home."

"Home isn't a place." Luffy intoned softly. "Home is the place where your nakama are. And I took you from them. So I took you from your home." He bowed his head. "I'm sorry."

Franky frowned. "Luffy-bro, you've become my nakama. You promised to take me on cool adventures, to make Sunny the best ship in the world, to give me the coolest life I can have. I want that life."

"Because I forced you to have it." Luffy mumbled.

"No." Franky replied. "Because you've become important to me, and you've become my home. I was stuck in a box of fear… but you came and showed me freedom. Luffy, you promised to give me the best life I could have, right?"

Luffy nodded.

"Well, I can't have it if my captain's not happy." Franky replied strongly. "So you've got to smile, yeah?"

Luffy peeked and asked, still uncharacteristically unhappy, "Are you sure you're happy?"

Franky smiled. "I will be as soon as you are."

And Luffy offered him the most dazzling smile ever. "I'm going to make sure you're always happy." Luffy vowed.

Franky grinned right back, as he agreed, "I know."

A/N: All I've got left is Brook! And maybe a rewrite for Sanji… I'm really sorry because this was probably the most OOC, because Water 7 is a bit of a blur for me.
