Okay! I'm sorry I haven't posted in like forever! But this is just a cute one-shot I thought of!
Eddie's POV
I am depressed. Have been ever since Patricia and I split up. Right now we are searching the gatehouse. I'm distracted right now, watching her tear through Denby's belongings. I smile as she tucks a piece of her slight curled hair behind her ear.
"What?" She asks in a soft voice, a small smile.
"Nothing, just thinking." I reply. She nods and goes back to searching.
"Hey, I haven't found anything, let's come back tomorrow, okay?" She decides, sighing.
"Yeah, sure." I shrug, and lead her down through the doors, as we exit to the cold, dark night.
"Shit." She murmurs, and immediately pushes me back against the wall.
"What is it?" I question.
"Denby, I can see her down near that path." She peers her head around the corner and I begin to see a faint figure walking toward us.
"We need a distraction." I say. She gives me a 'no really' look and rolls her eyes.
"I have the perfect distraction." She whispers.
"What is-" I am cut off by Patricia pressing her lips to mine. This was what I had been missing over the past few months. I felt like a firework just shot thought me, in a good way, of course.
"What is going on here?!" Denby demands as we pull apart.
"Sorry, just young love." Patricia grins.
"Well if you must, go back to your house and have your caretaker deal with you." She groans, sending us off. I am still in shock. We begin to walk back and it's as if Patricia wasn't even there when we kissed. She hasn't said a word and kept her distance.
"What was that about?" I ask her, not turning my head at all.
"What was what about?" She mutters, and continues to look at the ground. Now it was my turn. I take her hand and pull her close, then slightly brush my lips against hers. She doesn't refuse, but kisses back.
"That." I decide.
"Listen Eddie, to be honest, the reason I broke up with you was because I was scared. You were my kiss, boyfriend. My first love." She whispered the last part.
"Yacker, listen, I love you, you don't need to be scared, okay?" We are now facing each other.
She sighs. "Could we maybe give us another shot?" She says quietly, looking at her feet.
"Yes Yacker, of course." I reply, pulling her close and kissing her hair softly. This was what I missed. No wonder my dad was always getting on me about getting distracted.
She was the distraction.
Hope you like! Sorry I haven't updated in like forever! Also, I was thinking about giving Scars and Souvenirs up for adoption...anyone interested? :3
