"Hey son"

Lincoln turned around from the TV to see his parents approaching him, looking a tad...weird.

"What's up" Lincoln asked.

The loud parents were thinking what to say to their teenage son.

"So, you know what day is it, right?"

"Eh, saturday?"

"The date, sweetie"

"February 14, Valentine's day"

Lincoln shrugged.

"What about it?"

"Well, it's just, all of your sisters, except Lisa and Lily are dating someone and you haven't even talked about someone you wanted to date, even your sisters spied you and said you weren't seeing someone" Said Lynn Sr.

Lincoln rolled his eyes at that, of course his sisters would spy him, jeez haven't he made clear a long time ago that he wanted them to stop with that shit?

Apparently he didn't made that clear enough.

"Yeah, I'm well aware of that, why does it matter, I was pretty comfy playing videogames you know?"

"Well, we just wanted you to know, don't feel sad about it, you'll find someone someday, you just have to wait" Said Rita.

Lincoln let out a deep sigh, an annoyed one.

"Ok, I wanted to tell you and my sisters about this later when I feel comfortable about this, but seeing you people still going with this, I'm gonna have to come out"

The loud parents looked at him in confusion.

"Err, what?"

"Mom, Dad, I'm not interested on a relationship either sexual or romantic, I just wanted to live life with my friends, family and all the others, so i'm aroace"

The loud parents looked unsure about it, but accepted it right away.

"That's good I guess, when did you start feeling this way"

Lincoln, who had returned to his video games, explained.

"Well, some years ago I realized I didn't feel romantic feelings for any of the people I dated, even if they were Boy, Girls or whatever they identified as, I began thinking something was wrong with me until Clyde helped me with it and I found out there was something like that and other people who felt the same, I kinda felt it fitted me, I guess I just felt like I needed to have a partner because everyone else was on and on about theirs and how I will eventually have one, so after knowing I don't have to, I felt better"

The loud parents didn't have a problem with that.

"Wait, but didn't you enjoy seeing romantic movies with your sisters not too long ago?" Asked Lynn Sr.

"I can still enjoy that type of content and be happy for other people, I just don't have interest on that type of thing for my life, I'm not some kind of Grinch for romance and shit"

"Ok sweetie, if this makes you happy we have no problem with it, are you gonna tell your sisters?"

"Yeah, i'll probably do it when they come back, let's just nip this problem in the bud for once"

"OK champ, me and your mother are gonna do some stuff, we want you to know we accept you no matter what"

The two loud parents were going back to their rooms and then they heard something from their son.

"Thanks mom, dad, I'm glad you're ok with this"

The two parents smiled.

This fic is kinda me projecting into Lincoln, also doing something that's not done a lot in TLH fanfictions

Lincoln is usually pansexual in my fics, but I also like the idea of an aroace Lincoln as well
