Chad's POV
Everyone's around, no words are coming out. Can we just say the rest with no sound?
My Sonshine had enough of the silences. I just wish I actually knew what I could say. I just wanted to have those perfect moments when you didn't have to say anything. But with everyone watching, how could I tell her how I actually felt.
And I know this isn't enough, I still don't measure up.
All I could think of was 'I am...' and then I would get stuck. Stuck in the worst place possible. And I couldn't think of that word in time for me to stop her walking away.
And I'm not prepared; sorry is never there when you need it.
"And I do, want you to know I'll hold you up above everyone. And I do want you to know, I think you'd be good to me, and I'd be so good to you."
"Whatever." Sonny answered as she flicked her hand up above her head.
Sonny's POV
I thought I saw a sign, somewhere between the lies. Maybe it's me; maybe I only see what I want.
Who was I to think there was any part of Chad that actually could be good to me? I was stuck. But I knew I saw something in him. It might've just been by imagination, but how could I tell?
I still have your letter, just got caught between someone I just invented, who I really am and who I've become.
And there was the letter he wrote. But I didn't read it. I just kept it close to my heart. I didn't know if it was Chad or CDC who wrote it, and I didn't know if it was to Sonny or Sonshine.
Chad was becoming more and more difficult.
But nonetheless, I would hold him above everyone, and I think he could be good to me. And I know I was good to him.
Nobody's POV
The two ran to each other, and they kissed with more passion than ever, until finally releasing for air. They didn't need silences or letters. They were good to each other and they knew it.
"I would." They said together.
"I do, want you to know I'll hold you up above everyone. And I do think you'd be good to me. And I'd be so good to you."
A smile lit up Sonny's entire face. It didn't matter what anyone said. Chad was good to her.
