Nakigitsune was walking through the mansion looking for Yaya. He had looked everywhere for him. Yaya did not often stray far from his side but it had been an hour since he began his search and he was no closer at finding his companion.
Nakigitsune frowned and rounded a corner to quickly and bumped into someone. He looked up to see it was Kogitsune, and in his hands was Yaya. Nakigitsune beamed and reached out to take his companion but Kogitsune held Yaya from out of his reach. Nakigitsune said nothing but looked at Kogitsune and tilted his head.
"If you want to have him back you are going to have to ask for him back," Kogitsune said as Yaya looked from Kogitsune then back at Nakigitsune.
"You don't have to Nakigitsune-sama," Yaya told his master. Nakigitsune shook his head and looked at Kogitsune who was smiling at him.
"Can I have Yaya, back please?" Nakigitsune asked Kogitsune eyes widen not expecting to hear the other voice so easily.
Regaining his composure he held out Yaya to Nakigitsune. Nakigitsune took Yaya into his hand and Yaya jumped on his shoulder and started to nuzzle his chin.
"Thank you. Nakigitsune." Yaya told him.
"I will do anything to keep you safe. You are my precious companion after all." Nakigitsune said before looking back at Kogitsune who was staring at the two in shock. "Thank you for taking care of Yaya, Kogitsune-san." Nakigitsune gave him a smile before walking away from the corridor.
