A/N: Ok. So I know it has been ages since I wrote anything. I just haven't had the time. I have been flat out with school, being in my final year and all my spare time is spent on school work. But I couldn't resist writing this. Just a little one shot of one of my favorite couples, well should be couple, in RSO! Haha! Jess, you will love the last three lines! Haha! Can't wait for you to read them. Lol! Everyone else who reads this, I hope you like it!
"Stay away from Lara. She's a married woman"
"Correction. She was a married woman."
"What?" he asked stunned
"Oh what? You didn't know. Guess you're not as close as you thought."
"OK. You know what?" He punched him
That was all he needed. He retaliated and they fought. Until Lara came back.
"Hey! Stop it! Both of you!"
They stopped.
"Sorry Lara." He said
"What the hell was that Dean?"
"He…Cam pushed me."
"He pushed you?"
"Not in the literal sense. He said something."
Cam stood there smiling.
"Don't you smile! You're just as bad!" She yelled.
"Lara, can I talk to you?" Dean asked.
"Sure." She replied not making a move.
"Alone?"
"Uh…OK"
They walked off leaving Cam alone.
"What's up Dean?"
"You broke up with Hamish?"
"Uh…I-I was-"
"Was going to tell me?" Dean cut her off. "When? Before or after this thing with Cam that you have going on?"
"I have no thing going on with Cam!"
"Oh give it a break! It was a nice try. Using me as a cover for your date with him!"
"This wasn't a date! And besides, you said you didn't like Hamish."
"I didn't. But I like Cam even less."
"Dean…"
"Lara. He is the enemy. Don't you get that?"
"Dean. All I want is for my friends to be friends. You're my friend and so is he. Can't you try? Try to be friends. For me?"
Dean looked over at Cam.
"No. Sorry Lara."
"Come on Dean…"
"I'm sorry Lara." He kissed her cheek. "Have fun on your date. I can't be here." And he walked off.
"Dean!" Lara ran after him, leaving Cam confused and alone.
Dean kept walking. Lara ran to catch up to him.
"Dean. What is it you want me to do? You didn't like Hamish. You don't like Cam. Seems the only boys in my life that you do like are the ones from our team. Why?"
Dean couldn't handle it anymore. He took her face in his hands and kissed her. At first Lara didn't respond but then she did. It was meant to be a slow and gentle kiss, but when Lara responded it became very heated, very quickly. They broke apart and both stared at each other.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that" Lara said
"Hey. I started it. I knew it was just me."
"What do you mean?"
"You feel it too."
"Feel what?"
"The spark we have."
"What spark?"
"Lara, don't try to deny it. I know you felt it." He kissed her again to prove it. And once again, she responded.
"Lara?"
She pulled away from Dean to see a very shocked Cam standing there watching them.
"What was that?" Cam asked
"That…It…Uh…" she stumbled out.
"No. You know what? I know what that was. Just because I was getting to close you thought that you would make sure I couldn't have her. Right Dean?"
"Dean wasn't responsible for this. I was too." Lara stepped in.
"Lara, I thought you didn't like Dean."
"I never said that!"
"Ok. This is just too weird. I'm out."
"Cam…"
"No Lara. You and Dean are perfect. It makes sense. He has been there for you when you needed him. A connection was bound to form. I can tell it has." Cam turned and walked off.
"I'm sorry Cam." Lara said as she walked off to the bar.
"Hey cowboy!"
"What?"
"You're still a tool. It's over now. Leave her alone."
So what did you think? Love it? Hate it? Let me know by reviewing! Please!
