Strange how so many people just don't understand how the world works. I mean, it's the apocalypse now and Jamie won't let the death of her brother go. I think we might just have to kick her out if she keeps sitting in her room crying her eyes out. I'm sitting here watching tons and tons of zombies walking past the front gate. Our calls for help were answered, but no ones come yet.
My 12 gauge shotgun only has one shell left in the clip. The gun store is literally 5 seconds away, if this disgusting zombie horde would pass, I might have a chance to get supplies. We have to get out of the city, it's too dangerous out here, and we might die if we don't eat something. I don't know if other cities have been affected by the outbreak, I would check the news, but the powers been out for weeks now.
My little brother, Marcus, tells me he's scared but he will do whatever it takes to survive. I can't let my parents down now. They would want me to protect him. The horde has passed, I'm on my way there now this, as always, may be my final entry in this book. Dave agreed earlier to come with me, Nathan watches the house. It may seem strange for a bunch of teenagers to be surging this long on our own, but to tell you the truth, I didn't think we would make it this far either.
