Harry shuddered as he entered the cold dark room. Although the sun shone brightly through the one window which was placed on the left wall, the shadow seemed to crowd around the bright spot in a dense mob.
He began to make his way towards it, pulling his wand out of his robe wearily.
Suddenly, he heard the steady pounding of a basketball on the floor. bounce bounce bounce
"Ron?" he called wearily. "Hermione?"
"Harry!" he heard her voice through the dust, and suddenly spotlights lit up the room, showing a huge now illuminated basketball stadium.
Ron was pacing back and forth, repeatedly attempting to score in the basket. Hermione ran up to Harry and hugged him enthusiastically.
"Harry, thank god your ok!" she squealed, holding his hand tightly.
"im fine." Harry said, rubbing his scar. "its just-" Ron turned to him.
"why did you do this Harry?" he shook his head. "you could've got a scholarship, but instead your doing a stupid musical!"
Harry looked sad, and began to sing. "right now I can hardly breathe…"
Hermione sang back "oh, you can do it if you believe…"
And then, as if by magic, all those who had died in Harry's life ghosted up through the floor and began to dance.
"We're all in this together…"
"No, no, no, NO!" Ron cried. "stick to the stuff you know, if you wanna be cool follow one simple rule, done mess with the stuff you know, stick to the status quo-"
"Harry-" Hermione broke through the chaos. "I'm pregnant."
Harry could take no more. He lay down and cried on the floor, weeping for his miserable past and his miserable future as a teenage father.
