Agathe Schnee had been ready to confront all kinds of challenges after entering beacon academy with only fourteen years of age, but as she slaughtered her way through the Emerald forest, she was greatly disappointed.

Her offer to join the most prestigious of all four huntsman academies had come after she had saved headmaster Ozpin and general Ironwood from a Grimm attack, by using her silver eyes to turn the massive dragon attacking them as well as his flock of Griffon Grimm into dust.

Her father always envious of her genius intellect and unparalleled combat abilities had at first been vehemently against her joining not only a combat academy, but one in another kingdom at that. Always willing to think himself cleverer than the rest of the world he had offered her a test.

She had faced the ten Arma Gigas and two hundred newly developed AK-200 in a giant amphitheater, and bested them with ease.

Now here she was during the beacon initiation slaughtering the weak Grimm inhabiting this part of the forest without having to use either her eyes or her summons and without even breaking a sweat. She used the fact that she didn't even have to really think will killing the beasts to compose her next song for her internationally successful Pop-singer career.

Suddenly a large form appeared about ten meters ahead of her from behind some bushes. She almost ran it through with her trusty sword Spottgedicht, but her inhumanly fast reflexes allowed her to pull the strike when she recognized the form as one of her fellow Initiates.

Her extremely sharp mind used the moment their eyes met to categorize everything she could make out about him.

He was a massive man, almost 8 feet tall, clad in massive plate armor colored in a frosty bluish grey with a golden trim. On his shoulders sat the pelt of a wolf that must have been a giant when it still walked the surface of remnant. His weapons were an at the same time elegant and brutal looking chainsaw sword and a pistol the size of some assault rifles she had seen the atlas military using. His black hair was kept back in a long warrior wolf tail and complemented the pair of canine ears on his head perfectly.

"Greetings, I am Ragnar Blackmane and it would appear that we are partners." The giants gravelly voice was laud despite the fact that he spoke in a very soft tone.

Agathe had to surpass a manic grin, "So it would seem. Agathe Schnee a pleasure making your acquaintance."

This seemed to be the kind of person she could use to build her future team with. Someone who could at least somewhat keep up with her and might even be willing to follow her orders.

Without another look at her new companion she started walking again. "Let's keep moving, I want to be the first to reach that temple Ozpin talked about."

Ragnar followed her without question , his inner wolf not daring to challenge the powerful alpha energy it could feel radiating from this young girl.
