ON The Phone?
Dan POV
I stood dumbfounded. I rushed and grabbed Marucho; covering his mouth making sure he couldn't speak. I dragged him to where I stood previously.
"You have to be quiet. Listen," I whispered releasing his mouth. He did as instructeded, not objecting, before long Ace, Mira, and Baron had joined in from curiosity. We listened quietly slipping in silent oh's and ah's. The door to Shun's room was open; we all stood outside against the wall, listening intently.
I think this was the shock of my life.
Shun was talking on the telephone with someone…someone who seemed to be important.
"I miss you, too, I wish you could be here," he said.
"" I could for obvious reasons not hear what the person responded.
"But I wouldn't want you to be here. I would feel terrible if you got hurt,"

"Yes, I know you'd probably show the Vestals what true brawling is all about of," I could feel him grinning through the wall. I could feel the urge to laugh, to barf, I don't know, but I was proud my friend finally foundsomeone who apparently made him happy.
"You're too sweet,"
"Who the hell is he talking too?" Ace asked. I shrugged, like I knew—but I would pester Shun until he told me.
"Love you, too, I'll call you back," was all I heard.
I wondered what was said on the other end and before I stumbled upon his conversation. I'm sure there was more to this situation. From simply deduction, Shun had to be talking to someone who knew how to brawl, about Vestals, and he liked enough to miss. But I didn't know anyone that fit that category, especially not in regards to Shun.
"You can come in and stop snooping. You're very bad at it anyway," he said plainly.
I placed my head slowly in the doorway. He was standing up from the bed he was sitting. He placed the phone he was speaking on in his pocket. He turned towards the others and I, crossing his arms. His eyes only stared in disapproval. I scratched the back of my head, innocently.
Shun POV
'Gush, Dan is such an idiot,' I thought, mentally rolling my eyes.
"How did—"
"You must think I'm an idiot, right? I'm a ninja I have to always be aware of my surroundings," I stated matter-of-factly, walking towards where he stood.
His face turned into a duhhh as he rolled his eyes. At least he understood his idiocy.
"Who were you talking to?" he asked, eagerly. I was waiting for the question.
"Is that any of your business?" I responded harsher than I meant.
"It is if you were talking to the enemy…" Ace retorted sourly probably bitter because I had a girlfriend and Mira was—difficult.
"Yea, Ace, I was definitely talking to the enemy. I miss the enemy so much I'm staying here helping you instead of being with her…"
"So it's a her?" he said raising his eyebrows with that stupid grin.
"I didn't say that," I denied. Damn it, I wasn't expecting them to catch my slip up.
"Yes, you did, so who is she?"
"Was that your girlfriend?" Mira spoke for the first time.
"No!" I shouted. Gosh, I hated when they were right
"So defensive," Dan said with the cheesiest grin on his face.
"Yes, I was talking to my girlfriend. Now if you don't mind I would like to finish my conversation in private," I stated defeated. Mistake.
."Really? Wow," he said looking around at everybody else, with that same grin, "Shun, I always thought you were gay and you have a girlfriend, it's about time. Who is she? Do I know her?"
I didn't answer. They were so aggravating why were they my friends again?
My phone started to vibrate.
"I have to take this," I said plainly. I moved near the window on the other side of the room, trying to prevent them from hearing the other end. I saw in my peripheral as they attempted to sneak closer to me.
"Runo and Klaus know" she opened.
"They do? How?"
Dan POV
I only stared in surprise.
"So you think I should tell them,"
""
"Alright," he said looking at us.
""
"You know I'd do anything for you," he said smiling. I wanted to crack up laughing. Was Shun really talking to a girl with kindness and sincerity? I had to find out who it was.
Shun looked at me.
"How about you tell him or them?" he rolled his eyes.
He handed me the phone and I took it hurriedly.
Shun POV
Hope this works. I guess it's time, after we destroyed Naga; we became close. We started dating and we've been going well ever since. I felt butterflies in my stomach, every time she was around, I started to sweat, I stuttered once or twice. I wondered why she would like somebody like me, but her kind heartedness was something that always attracted me towards her. She led me to new places and I loved her for that.
"Alice!" I heard Dan yell.
"It's about time, idiot. Who did you think it was your mother?" I said sarcastically.
Yes, it was Alice, my girl, and she would stay that way until she wanted to end it.
