1: Epiphany
It was, ironically, pure chance that Harry Potter heard the saying the first time, a coincidence for the second, but when he heard it a third he decided it wasnt something he should ignore.
1 Is Chance, 2 Is Coincidence, 3 Is A Pattern
He just couldnt get the saying out of his head.
It may seem like it isnt anything at all (which that could be true), but that doesnt mean that it made him realise some things that are making his life pretty difficul, and since he realised it, he hasnt been able to relax at all. Which is what made him think on it more, which led to him making his list.

1st year: almost died because of something that seemed fairly reasonable, Tom and Harry involved
2nd year: almost died over something that did rescue Ginny, but still shouldnt have happened, Tom and Harry involved
3rd year: almost died, thats all that needs to be said, Tom (by extention) and Harry involved
Conclusion: Im sick and tired of almost dying because of situations (no matter how reasonable) an 11-13 year old shouldnt be apart of when I just want to be left alone, could easily have been avoided, some adults should actually listen to childred, I need to actually study and be less rash,

It may not be the most expanded upon and it may be complete bull, but Harry isnt so keen on finding out if that pattern will go on, which it probably will.
So, after taking consideration of the fact that Harry hates the Dursleys and wants to sort his through his thoughts more and do so peacefully, he left for the day.
