One of those stupid radio morning talk shows blared loudly from Gaia's alarm clock and raindrops pelted the window of the room Tatiana and Gaia share. "Turn that thing off" Tatiana yelled from the bathroom. That girl gets up so early. Gaia slammed her hand down on the alarm's off button and rolled unceremoniously off her bed. She walked over to a pile of clothes on her floor and pulled a pair of khaki cargo pants and a navy blue sweater from it. She yawned and walked to the bathroom. Tatiana was piling some kind of hair styling product into her long straight blonde hair, which was silky soft and shining as usual. "Out" Gaia growled. "Well, someone got out of the wrong bedside this morning" Tatiana huffed, walking past Gaia back into the room. A soft smile played about Gaia's lips. "What?!?!" Tatiana screeched. "It's got out on the wrong side of the bed this morning, Tatiana." Gaia corrected her softly. Tatiana pouted. Before she could say another word Gaia slammed the bathroom door behind her and started the shower. She stepped in, the hot water waking her up slightly. By the time she had showered and dressed, Tatiana was already gone. Probably at Starbucks, Gaia thought, bitterly. She grabbed her messenger bag and walked out onto the street. I just need a few donuts or something, she thought, not bothering to lock the door behind her.
