The Choice of Undomiel
Frodo is leaving.
I can never go.
Sam will in time,
But me; No.
I will just continue to gain,
Until all I have gained is lost.
I knew when I chose
That that was the cost.
The Ringbearers have passed
Into the west.
Sam's ship is not last
To journey that quest.
Legolas and Gimli,
They will leave too,
When my son is the king,
When the world is new.
The Fellowship's bravery,
I hope none forget.
And when the last ship passes,
I will not regret.
