Charlie and Brax FanFiction
Brax's POV
Today was just like any other day, a day with Heath just getting on my nerves, Casey just getting on with his HSC and Natalie trying to help me but really I don't think I can be helped. There is only one person who can help and it is not possible for her to help me anymore. She died almost 3 years ago now and even though it has been that long I still can't stop thinking about her. I think about her when I wake up and when I go to sleep she is constantly on my mind. Her name is Charlie Buckton.
I had convinced Ruby to go back to university, I tried to look out for her and now saw her as a daughter figure. Although we struggled at first we bonded after she stopped blaming me for Charlie's death. But I knew she was right, it was my fault Charlie died.
( On the beach just got out of the sea)
I could see Natalie walking towards me, me and Natalie had been dating for almost 3 months now and although I had feelings for her it was nothing I had and still have for Charlie.
" Hey babe, you going up to the restaurant?" Natalie asked
" Yeah, why?" Brax asked curiously
" cause I am hungry am was on my way to see if you wanted to have lunch with me" asked Natalie
" I'm sorry but I have so much work to do" Brax stated reluctantly
" Okay babe, well I will have lunch at the diner then so I can talk to Leah" Natalie said disappointed
I didn't know why I was lying to Natalie, I didn't need to do work.
Charlie POV
I had just had a phone call for Inspector Joyce stating that Jake had been done for robbery and had was going to be in jail for a very long time. Due to this Joyce had asked me if I would like to return to Summerbay, I couldn't say yes quick enough. All I wanted to do was to be able to see Brax again smell his scent, look into his mysterious eyes and see his cheeky grin. I had cried for Brax ever since the night they made me leave my family.
I had been updated on everything about Ruby and Brax. I knew that Ruby had returned to her university in the city and I knew Brax had turned to drink after I had died. But I couldn't go back I was not doing this for me, I was doing this for Brax and Ruby to make sure they were safe from Jake and his gang. I just had to make sure they understood why I did it.
Finally I was going to be reunited with my Brax.
