Saturday morning.
It was a freezing winter. Everywhere in Ashland is filled with snow.
"The weather started to become warm, isn't it Wybie?"
Without knowing Coraline's clear voice come into his ear, Wybie was lost in thought, watching her jumping around.
Coraline, who saw Wybie having a serious look on his face, said "being ignored again". Shrugging her shoulders and started running around.
'If she gives me a hug ...'
Wybie shook his head.
"No, she's a friend ..."
Wybie was blown away his thoughts, and he recovered his sense when he saw Coraline jumping around.
"Jonesy, don't run too hard, it's making me crazy."
"Huh... Okay."
Actually, Wybie was worried if she will get hurt. However, he spits it out with a word that nobody wants to hear, of course, he didn't mean that.
The two of them arrived at the station and waited for the bus to pick up Coraline.
"When will you back?" Wybie asked.
"Well ... I think it will be 3 weeks."
"Long gone."
"Yeah… Oh, it feels little chilly. See, my hands become flush because too cold." Said Coraline.
You said the weather was warm….. Nuts.
When Wybie glanced at her, he smiled and grasped Coraline's hand without thinking. His large two hands hid Coraline's little hand between his palms.
The embarrassed Coraline suddenly blushed, and Wybie raised his mouth.
'This is the right time' Wybie thought.
"It's good to have you." Wybie said without embarrassments.
"...uh?" Coraline flushed more.
"Your hand I mean, it's good to hold."
"... ah, ahaha! On a cold day, you should hold the hands like this to get warm ..."
"It is good because it's your hand."
"This would even better."
At the end of the conversation, Wybie hugged Coraline, interlocked her hand. It made Coraline embarrassed and flushed…Even more.
"You said its cold. Right?"
"..."
"Jonesy, I want to say something, you mind?"
"...no..."
"Really?"
"Hmm…" Wybie nodded, Wybie smiled again and giggled.
"I love you, Jonesy."
