Colors :) Just a fluffy fic idea I got when I painted my nails, and yah.
Riley stared at his best friends hands, her nails were always painted, usually to go with her mood, or even her crush's favorite color. He noticed her hands green and brown. His favorite colors. "Nah," he thought, "there have got to be a lot of guys who like green and brown."
"What's with the woodsy nail color KC," Jackie said noticing Riley staring at KC's hands.
"I don't know what you're talking about. So Jackie what locations do we have to pick from this week," KC said changing the conversation quickly.
The next day
"Dark blue,in love. Really KC, yesterday it was green and brown some one's favorite colors, and today dark blue which happens to mean in love, interesting choice there."
"I picked this color and random," she said nervously.
"We all happen to know you usually pick colors for your mood, or a crush's favorite colors," Jackie said stating something they had heard several times.
"It was random, I swear."
"It's someone come on tell me," Jackie said pulling KC out of HQ and into the Litman house.
"Ok so you really want to know?"
"Yes, I do."
"Riley."
"Ha! I knew it."
"Now don't tell anyone."
"I won't. Now come on we have to start getting things ready for the investigation tonight."
"KC, can I talk to you," Riley said when she entered the room.
"Yah, why?"
"No reason particular," he said looking at her hand, before leaving the room.
"I heard you talking to Jackie."
"I knew someone was listening," she stuttered a bit.
"It's ok," he said pulling his hands out of his hoodie pocket, showing hot pink and lime green nail polish.
"Ohmigosh, Riley," she said laughing.
"Hey they happen to be my crush's favorite colors."
"Oh really?"
"Yah really," he said leaning into kiss her.
"So how long do you think before Sam and Zach tease you about your hands?"
"Hopefully, I can get it off before then."
"Well, I may have polish remover in my bag," she said going to grab it. Sam and Zach entered the room.
"Nice hands Riley," Sam teased.
"Hey I got the girl. I will take no teasing," he said going to find KC a huge smile on his face.
