Editors Note: i was rereading The Truth About Forever when, after reading the part where Wes says he still finds list from his mom laying around, that maybe there could be a letter to Wes that she wrote while she was sick and before she died. so here it goes...
Wes' pov.
I just got home from the date with Macy and put my coat in the closet when my mom's coat ruffed and a letter fell out of it. I picked it up and saw that the out side had Wes writen in my mom's hand writing. I took the letter and sat at the table. I breathed it in. It still smelt like her, her favorite perfume, and ink. I opened the envelope and began to read.
My dearest Wesley,
You are a truely amazing boy, a mothers dream. I know that after your fathers and my devorce you began to rebal, I'm sorry that I couldn't make it work out. But in the beginning I loved your father very much. more then life its self. I hope you find a love like that, but I hope that your's last forever.
I'm very sick and the doctors doesn't think that I will live that much longer, so please, please, look after your brother, and listen to your Aunt Delia. know that I will always be watching over you, and Burt. I want you to know, that I've always been proud of you, I know that you went down a bad road, but you my son, have really began to straighten up. I know that the girl that falls for you will be lucky. I wish I could meet her. I will though, one day. Not anytime soon, I hope. I love you, Forever.
With all the love in the world.
Momma.(Wish.)
I felt tears gathering in my eyes as I read the last part.
P.S. Please tell Delia that i know that Catering is stressful, But she needs to get a system down and give the person with the best memory the important stuff (eg. Not Her!) Let Burt know that i love him. and i will always be watching over my two baby boys. I love you. I love you. I love you.
I reread the note about five times before I put it back where i found it. Knowing that it will always be there. But know, I have to do something. I picked up the phone dialed the number i knew by heart.
"Hello?"
"I want you to meet someone, I'll be over at your house in five minutes." I hung up the phone and drove to Macy's house.
We were on the road for about 20 minutes before we arrived at the grave yard.
"My mom wants to meet you." I kissed her forhead and lead her to the grave.
