Her skin was soft against his, her breathing calm and relaxed. He was mildly panicking. He hadn't dreamed he would be doing this so soon. In front of so many people; so many eyes watching them do it. He felt exposed and mildly uncomfortable being in the middle of the room. But she was pressed against him in a way he had never known before. Even through all the discomfort and anxious moments, he felt excited. He had never thought it would be this much fun. Their bodies moved together, occasionally brushing against other couples. He grunted quietly and moved his hands to rest upon her waist. They continued to move against one another, getting the momentum needed to do it properly. After a while other couples began departing, growing tired from the nights festivities. Eventually they were the only pair left in the middle. Still they continued, oblivious to the rest of the world. As they carried on, she leant in and rested her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat. She relaxed in his arms and let him control their movements. They flowed silently, each beat blending into a different move. She sighed.
Then the music stopped.
She looked up at him.
"Naruto?"
"Yes, Hinata?"
"You don't dance much, do you?"
He laughed quietly, and she felt his chest moving.
"No. Not much."
