Synopsis: Shortly after returning to Atlantis, Teyla talks to Ronon about her choice in names for Torren John Emmagan.

"Ronon!"

The tall Satedan slipped through a door out onto a balcony on Atlantis. She saw him looking out over the city as she stepped up behind him.

"Ronon," she tried again.

Finally the Satedan turned around and acknowledged her.

"Teyla, I didn't see you."

Teyla knew he was lying, and he knew that she knew. Sighing slightly Teyla stepped closer to her friend.

"Ronon, I feel we must talk."

"About what?"

"My son, and his name."

Ronon quirked an eyebrow at her to show that he did not understand, but she knew better. He was upset that she had not named her child after him. She had chosen John.

"I know you are upset about what I named him."

"No, I am not," he stated as he crossed his arms over his chest, "I think it is a fine name."

"Ronon, I know you are lying. You are upset. But I really think you should listen to why I chose that name."

"Teyla, I am not upset," he tried re-emphasizing.

This time Teyla sighed loudly at the stubborn man in front of her.

"Ronon, I did not want to name Torren after you."

Teyla watched him tilt his head back so she could not see the pain in his eyes. Reaching out her hand she laid it gently down on his forearm, but he refused to look at her.

"Please look at me and listen."

Slowly he looked down.

"I did not want to name him after you because I wanted to name our son after you."

"I… What?"

"I realized a while back that I was fond of you as more than a friend. Then while I was captive I had time to see that it is much more than that. I am in love with you."

He stared at her for few moments before he finally responded.

"You do?"

"Yes. Do you understand why I chose the name that I did now."

Ronon smiled down at Teyla, and gently slid an arm around her waist, pulling her close to him.

"I believe I am beginning to," he replied as he leaned down and kissing her softly.

"I love you Teyla."

"And I love you Ronon."
