Fading
A short, sad, tragic one-shot. Don't look at me, I think I might cry…
I fell into the Realm Of Darkness to save a friend of mine.
"There is hope Aqua." A hooded man said to me as I sat, watching the dark waters of darkness. "A boy who can save you and all of your friends from your suffering."
"What's the boy's name?" I asked, desperate for answers.
I was desperate for answers and hope…
"Sora." The hooded man said as he disappeared.
I shed a tear while looking at the dark sky. Now filled with hope and joy. "Sora." I repeated the name over and over in my mind.
That single name gave me hope…
I then saw a masked boy with red armor which looked like a bodysuit.
"Hello, Aqua." He said as he summoned his keyblade which I found familiar.
"Vanitas!" I said as I summoned my Master's Keeper. I fought against his constant attacks, but his darkness was too strong.
But now I know it's a LIE!
Vanitas then slashed at my shoulder but I quickly dodged it. He then shot dark lightning which hit my left arm and made it fall numb. He then did the same attack with my left arm and soon enough, both of my arms were numb. I could only watch as my keyblade fell onto the ground.
I felt so weak…
I then turned and ran. Ran away from the boy who was trying to kill me, away from the life that I was forced to live. I wanted to find a way out of it, a way to end it all. A way to escape.
"Sora." I whispered.
"You can't run away from the darkness!" I heard the boy say as dark lightning hit my back. I then fell onto the floor on my back. I couldn't move. I felt helpless.
And you didn't do ANYTHING!
Vanitas was on front of me. Laughing at the sight of my still, unmoving body. Watching me do futile attempts to escape my fate. I could only watch as he raised his keyblade.
"Guess your savior never came after all." Vanitas said as he brought his keyblade down on me.
I felt a searing pain on my chest and could only watch as Vanitas escaped through a Corridor of Darkness. I could only stand still and wait for what fate has in store for me.
How could you let me fade Sora?
I saw small circles of yellow light through my fading vision. I was fading away. I was going to die in the Realm Of Darkness. With no savior to save me from this empty prison.
You were my last hope…
If I had one regret, it's that I never got to see Ventus or Terra again. That I never got to see Xehanort pay for ruining our lives. But now, it's too late. I'm going to fade away.
Ven, Terra. Be strong.
I only watched as my body faded away and I felt my head start to disappear. I felt the feeling leave my head.
Now I am gone. Dead. And it's all thanks to you.
I saw through my faded vision, a spiky brown haired boy with black baggy clothes run into my fading body. He only looked in confusion and ran away from my decaying body.
"Let's keep looking for Aqua!" He yelled through the Realm of Darkness as he looked around the Realm of Darkness looking for me.
Little did you know that you would be too late in the end.
I felt all the feeling leave my body, then everything went black.
