Booth found Tempe on the rooftop of the Jeffersonian under the moonlight. He knew from the look on her face that she was in deep thought. And he wondered, if her thoughts were of him.

The anthropologist leaned against the wall closing her eyes. She was beautiful, he thought to himself, unlike the other women he knew who had come and gone into his life. Loving someone would probably be forever for her.

He tried to reminisce back of their first meeting. He couldn't remember a life before her.

"Seeley? I thought I heard something," she nodded and smiled at him. Rarely does she ever smile, but, when she does, he felt his heart flutter.

"Beautiful night," he said as he looked up at the sky. A million stars twinkled above them. Walking towards her, he gently touched her shoulder. What a wonderful feeling...touch...he never realized how much human contact involved touch.

"It's peaceful out here tonight," softly, she spoke.

The only sound came from the gentle blowing of the wind. She felt the cool breeze hitting against her neck. He inched his way as close as he possibly could to her. She watched him watching her.

"What?" She asked.

Her crystal-blue eyes glistened as the moonlight illuminated her face. She stared at him intensely.

"I'm just listening," he said.

"To what? I haven't said a thing to you."

"I was listening to your heart," he smiled.

Tempe laid her hand over her chest. With the loud pounding of her heart, she was so sure he could have heard it.

Booth smiled at her knowing what she felt for him was what he felt for her. Hooking her arms around his, she tilted her head on his shoulder. Standing under the moonlight, they held on to each other.

He turned to her, pushed strands of her soft locks away from her face and tucked it behind her ears. "Ready to leave?"

"Yes," she replied brushing her fingers lightly on his stubbled face. He lowered his face down to hers kissing her lightly on her lips. Embracing him, she tightly held on to him.

Stepping back, Booth held out his hand to her. "Alright then, come on. Let's go home. The kids are waiting."

The End

Author's Note: Thought I owe this to everyone, PURE FLUFF, since I killed Temperance in my last story.
