Disclaimer: I don't own CSI: Miami or any of the characters on it.

Author's Note: I wrote this story with a CaRWash implied theme but it can probably suit whatever male you want to be with Calleigh. I originally came up with this poem for my English exercise and ended up getting a perfect mark on it. So, I wanted to share it with you all and see how you like it. I'll gladly take any constructive criticism.

Calleigh

He loved her emerald eyes, ones which shone brightly like newly cleaned jewels,
like leaves in the forest moist with dew,
like lucky jade necklaces given to infant children.
Her contagious smile plastered across her full, red lips,
sending delightful shivers down his spine,
like the sun shining through the heavens,
like the dancing of waves in the cool ocean water.
He welcomed the ring of her cheerful laughter, coming straight from her heart,
like the sing-song of birds,
like a magnificent choir,
like the tender call of mother to child.
He loved when his fingers were entangled in her straight, golden locks
like a fresh breath of sunshine,
like a safety net that would always catch him,
like a woven tapestry as perfect as she.
Her different personas, perfectly balanced
like a tight rope walker carefully maneuvering his way,
like a commander in charge of his army,
like a president heading a nation.
He admired her confidence, bold as a lion, fierce as a tiger,
and yet it didn't overpower her beauty.
The inner beauty that had made him fall in love,
she was the most beautiful woman, hands down,
gracious like a gazelle,
timid as an angel.
She was his for eternity,
a friend,
a colleague,
a lover,
his Calleigh.
