"Alright, everybody we'll go around the circle and say why we're here. Let's start with Ms. Chase," The middle aged lady pointed at me and I felt myself freeze up.

I took a deep breath and wiped my sweaty hands on my shorts, "Um, okay. I'm Annabeth Chase. I'm here because of cutting."

"Very good Ms. Chase. Would you be comfortable enough to say why you started self harming?" The lady-I forgot her name already-asked.

I nodded faintly, "My step-mother abused me. I ran away at age 7 but they found me, the abusing started again and I started cutting" My scars started to itch as I felt the group's eyes drift down to look. I'd started to wish I wore long sleeves and longer shorts.

"Okay, Ms. Levesque, it's now your turn. Start when you're ready" She nodded at the girl next to me in the half circle

The African American girl with curly hair moved her lips but no sound came out, she looked young and innocent. Her eyes were a dark brown but had golden flecks like a miner's pan.

"A little louder please" The lady leaned forward to hear her better.

I was able to catch, "Hazel...Mom...suicide...witch girl...jewels...New Orleans"

"We'll work on that" The lady scribbled something on her flowerly clipboard, "Next is Mr. Zhang,"

"I'm Frank. I have a habit of taking in stray animals, it got worse when my Grandma, who I lived with, passed away. My foster family filed it as an unhealthy obsession" He had a baby face, with slight Chinese features and a broad build. His face didn't really match his body.

"See, we're all getting closer and closer as friends. Ms. Mclean, why don't you go"

"I'm Piper, and yes it's Mclean as Tristan Mclean, famous TV star. I might have stolen a few cars. I didn't really steal them, I asked for them and the dealers handed the keys over. I guess the last car was the last straw. I ended up here. Yippee" Her chocolate hair was choply cut with feathers and braids and it was like her eyes couldn't decide what color to be, I saw them be amber, emerald, and sky blue.

"I'm not sure about them giving you the cars, but okay. Mr. Grace" The lady once again furiously wrote something down

The blonde haired guy with golden glasses and baby blue eyes leaned forward, "I'm Jason, I was kidnapped at the age of 5 and was found 2 years ago. I was sent hear to talk about my "problems" I don't need to though, I'm perfectly fine"

"Mr. Grace, you always need to talk about your feelings. Mr. Valdez, why don't you go"

A latino short guy with curly hair and a smile full of mischief, "I'm Leo, and I kinda have an issue with fire and explosions. I didn't plan to set the cabin of fire, but its was called Camp Fire wood, what did they expect me to do?"

"Mr. Jackson why don't you finish us up."

All eyes turned to the guy leaning in his chair with a leather jacket. His aqua eyes had a sharp edge,

"Let's see, I've blown up a school bus in the 5th grade, pushed a few kids into fountains, been on a man hunt, earned a criminal record, been abused, almost abducted, and that's not even half it." He snapped, "You can write that on your little clipboard"

"Mr. Jackson please watch that attitude, I'm here to help" She wrote something else down and looked back up, "You were all sent to ICARE camp by your parents because they worried about you. You are in a save place and whatever you say here, stays here. We made great progress tonight, let's head off to the camp fire and sing some songs" We all looked at eachother, none of us wanting to be first. Finally Piper huffed and stood up, and marched her way to the small fire. We then followed her lead, shuffling over. The lady made weak attempts to have us sing, one of them was faintly humming a song none of us knew. She waited for a few minutes, but it felt like forever

"Let's all go back to our rooms and we'll talk in the morning mm'kay?" This time she didn't wait for an answer but stood up, adjusted her pencil skirts and hauled her self over to the Big House.

"Is it just me, or does she have her panties in a knot?" Piper asked, only to have silence followed. If we were in a movie, crickets would be chirping and the crowd would laugh. I was about to rise when the young girl, Hazel, burst into a fit of giggles, sending me into laughter. Jason followed, making Piper snort. Frank let out a deep laugh and Leo had a silent laugh. The fire made our faces flicker red, orange and yellow, it warmed me to the bone. The only one not laughing or even smiling was Percy Jackson.

"Well, our little circle of feelings was touching but I've got a date with my bed I don't want to miss, G'night" Leo brushed of his pants and wandered over to his own room, and Piper left after him, setting off a chain. Soon Jason called it a night, then Hazel and then Jason, leaving Percy and me.

"Yo," I called tossing a leaf, and missing, at Percy. He glared at me,

"What do you want Blondie?" He snapped,

"Maybe you're the one with your panties in a knot,"

"I don't wear panties," he grumbled

I switched my seat so I was sitting next to him, "Just trying to ease the tension,"

Percy whispered something under his breath,

"Maybe you have your boxers in a twist," I went to punch his shoulder but stopped mid move, "Did you really blow up a school bus?"

"Yeah, it's a long story though" Percy crossed his arms,

I sat back and looked at him, "I've got time,"

Percy looked at me, surprised, "You really want to hear it?"

I laughed lightly, "It's not everyday a 5th grader blows up a school bus,"

"We were at some museum and I wandered off to the history section, there was this cannon on the roof. I might have aimed at the school bus pretending to shoot it and I kinda shot it off. I don't even know why they had a cannon ball in it and had it working. I kinda got expelled and thats put Lincoln Elemetary school making it the 5th I got kicked out of."

"Dude, you were one punk kid, the 2nd grader must have run away screaming at the sight of you"

Percy smirked, "Yeah, the 4th graders worshipped me"

"Is that a smile I see?" I leaned closer to see the small smirk playing on his lips.

"Well, I'm gonna hit the road," He mumbled wiping the smile of his face.

I nodded and headed over to the girl's cabins, "Hey! Jackson!"

He turned on his heel, "What?!"

"Smile! It looks good on you!" I called

Percy laughed, "Was that a compliment Blondie?!"

"Maybe it was maybe it wasn't!"

"It was totally a compliment! I could get used to this!"

"Don't! It's a one time thing! Now I'm going to sleep! Haul your lazy ass to the bed!"

"Shut Blondie!" And that's the last I heard from Percy that night. The smile stayed on my face as I opened the door and flicked on the light. There was a bathroom tucked into the corner and a bed pushed against the wall. I sighed and moved my way to the bed,

"Home sweet, Home - for a month. Woohoo."
