"Catch me if you can," Love whispered in my ear 2 years ago. Those were the words still repeating in my head over and over.
Love is here. Everyone loves Love, including me. Her perfect light brown hair sways as she walks. Everyone stops and stares for a while. She finally stops when she walks toward me and asked how the weather is. I say lovely as I try not to drool over her. Her eyes are like an ocean. She took me away. I tried to ask if she would like to go out for a date with me this weekend but I just couldn't say it. I took out a piece of paper, wrote it down and gave it to her. She smiled and told me to pick her up at seven. Then she left with her sister Harmony. My best friend Benny gets excited for me but in the inside is jealous that I got a date with Love. We go to my house and look in my closet to find the perfect outfit. After 2 hours of looking through my closet. Benny finally agrees on what I'm wearing Saturday. He asks me where I'm going to take her. I thought for a second then told him a dinner and a movie. Perfect.
Later that night my parents leave and Sarah comes in and makes Jane's dinner. I'm not going to lie. I used to like Sarah until Love came along.
Benny and I greeted her and Benny blurts out that I'm going on a date with Love. She seemed excited and tells me all the things Love likes. After, Sarah plays with Jane and I play video games with Benny. When my parents came home, Benny and Sarah went home. I try to go to bed but I just can't. Love is on my mind.
The next day, Love goes shopping with Sarah. I should of known why Sarah knew a lot about Love, they were best friends. Three hours later, they finally pick a dress. An hour later, they were trying to pick shoes out, but decided to stick with her converse.
It was already 5:30 and they finally finished shopping. How do girls shop that long? I swear I would have died out there. Sarah helped Love with her hair and make-up. It didn't matter to me if she had make-up. She was beautiful just the way she was.
It was 7pm and I knocked on her door. She opened the door and I looked at her open mouthed.
"Wow," I blurted out.
She giggles her famous giggle that makes all the boys melt.
"Thanks," She finally said.
I took her hand and got a vision of her in the sunlight with hearts all around her. I shook it off and drove her to a nice Italian restaurant. I opened the door for her. Let's hope I don't mess up. We finally get seated and look at the menu. When we ordered our food, I started to ask her questions. Did you know she's fluent in Italian and French? Me either. We had almost the same thing in common. She likes video games, Star wars and all the nerdy stuff I do. I'm falling so hard, there's no more room left to fall.
After dinner, we went to the movies and saw a chick flick. During the movie, I wrap my arm over her shoulder. She smiles and looks at me. She was so beautiful. I try to kiss her, but I'm just a chicken.
Later, I took her home and opened the passenger seat door for her.
"I had a great time," She told me.
"Same here," I smiled.
"Bye Ethan," She waved goodbye and walked up the smooth steps of her house.
"Wait," I said and ran up to her. She looked at me and guess what I did? I kissed her passionately.
"I just caught you Love."
