Here's a short one shot I wrote last night :) EnJoY!
"You are such a little kid, Iris!"
That was the third time that Ash had said it.
Flashback.
The first time.
"Cilan where are the berries I brought back earlier?" I asked as I looked around the green haired connoisseur's work space.
"Iris you are such a little kid sometimes!" I looked around at the sound of the familiar voice.
"W-what?"
"You left these in the tent!" Ash laughed and pointed to the bowl in his hand "how childish of you!"
I stormed over to Ash and took the bowl from him, ignoring his stupid comment, and proceeding on with my day.
The second time.
"Ow!" I exclaimed as I hit the ground. I had just tripped over a rock in the middle of the path that I hadn't noticed.
Before the ever worriedly Cilan could speak up, Ash piped his opinion.
"Iris, you're such a little kid!"
I knew that getting mad at Ash would just be giving Ash what he wanted, so I dusted myself off and continued walking without even acknowledging him.
Present.
That was the third time he had said it and I was about to start yelling at him.
"Shu-"
"It's lunch time!" Cilan interrupted me with his famous lunch time song.
"Great, I was really looking forward to it" I groaned sarcastically, and walked past Ash towards the plastic table.
From lunch, and onward I tried my best to avoid doing anything that Ash could call childish. Until after dinner that is...
I was getting tired early from all of the walking we had done earlier in the day, so I was relaxing in a chair by the campfire.
"And then Chili set the whole bag of popcorn on fire!" I smiled as I watched Cilan reenact the scene.
"That's funny!" Ash laughed.
"Yeah real funny" I sighed and stood up "do we have any marshmallows?"
"As a matter a fact, we do!" Cilan quickly pulled a bag of marshmallows out of his backpack and handed them to me.
"Yum" I stuck my hand in the bag and pulled out one of the fluffy white treats. Luckily I looked at it before I put it in my mouth.
"Ew!" I shrieked and threw the marshmallow across the fire.
"What's wrong?" Cilan looked at me strangely.
"It's a tiny little bug!" Ash bent over laughing "you are such a little kid!"
That was it. No more Ms. Nice Girl.
"Will you shut up, Ash? You are SO annoying!"
Ash looked at me for a moment before smiling.
"You finally got a taste of your own medicine."
