Light played with the chains that bound him and L. "Can you at least go to bed or something? I'm tired."
L didn't bother looking away from the screen when he talked. He took his thumb out from in between his lips for a second, pausing his deducting process. "If you're Kira then you don't need sleep."
Light didn't say anything for a second. "Well I'm not Kira. I'm proving that to you by being chained?" He reminded the other, lifting up his cuffed hand and jingling the chains.
L didn't say anything. His thumb was back in between his lips, deducting.
Light sighed and put his hands behind his head and gave a convincing yawn. He closed his eyes.
Silence washed over the room.
"Imagay." L said, breaking the silence.
Light opened his eyes and looked to his right to see L's big eyes staring at him.
"What?"
"Imagay." L said again.
Light nodded. "I figured as much."
"No, that's your last name spelled backwards."
"It is?"
L nodded in response.
"Light imagine his last name in his head and flipped it backwards. Sure enough, Yagami spelled backwards was Imagay.
He looked back at L. "And?"
L had turned back to the computers. "I figured as much."
