Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson. That belongs to the wonderful author and troll named Rick Riordan.

Nico di Angelo was normal, but not really. It was actually common knowledge that the strange boy that is always in an aviators jacket –twice his size- a black shirt and jeans was an outcast. That was probably the only accurate way to describe him: outcast. He was son of Hades –God of the Underworld- and just generally threw off a 'Death Aura' as people began to dub it. He was known as Ghost King, Pluto's Ambassador- that is, the Roman form of Hades- and Death's son. Hiding deep inside of him was a dark secret that no one else was ever to know, he planned never to tell anyone.

Two people knew this secret -save Nico himself and certain Gods and Goddess- and one of them shouldn't even know. Bianca di Angelo understood her little brother, she didn't judge him for who he was. But that was just because she was Nico's sister, in reality, he is from a time period in which it was the most unthinkable thing to be… to be like him.

Cupid. Eros. Whoever he is called. If it wasn't for him, then Bianca would still be the only person to know. No, he had no luck and Cupid wouldn't give them the Diocletian's scepter until he spoke. Somehow, though, he had realized without Nico saying anything. Still, it broke him to say it aloud. Jason Grace. Out of every one of the seven to know, it had to be Grace.

Percy Jackson. A simple crush. A love that will never be returned to him. Ever. He has Annabeth. He isn't like Nico, anyway. Regardless of what Grace says, Nico trust no one with his secret. Valdez, especially, he would go to no end to tease Nico. Hazel, his half-sister- is from the same time period as himself. She has only been in this time period for less than a year, there would be zero chance that she would be 'understanding.'

Nico hardly knew Thalia –Jason's older Huntress sister- the most interactions that they had ever had was when they went to find and take back Hades sword–when it was actually all Persephone's idea. He knew that she follows the Huntresses, but that was about it.

The Huntresses. Nico despised the Huntresses. They were supposed to keep Bianca safe, and he never saw her again. Alive, at least. She would be able to help in this situation, though. She always knew what to do.

No. Everything was crashing and burning because of Jason Grace. He just had to know. He would turn on Nico and Nico knew it. The whole ship would know soon. Percy was the closest person Nico could ever call a friend, and if -when, no doubt that Grace would tell- he finds out, then that would be the end of that.

By tomorrow, though, it won't matter if Jason tells everyone. He is bringing Reyna, Coach Hedge -the crazy Styr- and the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood, he'll fight and then disappear to not be seen again. He's pretty good at that. Nico would rather never see him again rather than face him when he is disgusted by Nico for being the disease… poison… that he is.

He's going to leave and everyone will be better off. At least, that's what he'll keep telling himself, because if you say it enough, then it can become the truth. Right?
