Hey everyone. This story was brought to you by Hogwarts Eastern Winter Funfair's Yule Log Burning, Hogwarts Southern Winter Funfair's Big Dinner Bash, and Hogwarts Northern Winter Funfair's Snow Globe Maker on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For Yule Log Burning I wrote for G9's genre prompt of humor. For Big Dinner Bash I wrote for Gravy's pairing prompt of Hermione/George. For Snow Globe Maker I wrote for Weasley's Wizard Wheezes prompt of explosion. I hope you all enjoy Of Weasleys and Chicken Feathers.

Hermione Granger sighed as she heard the sound of laughter coming from the back room of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Knowing Fred and George the way she did she knew the duo was up to no good. In fact she could sense it the moment they both walked towards the back upon seeing her. Rolling her eyes flipped the sign on the door closed knowing no good could come of a pranking Fred and George. Walking slowly towards the back she prepared herself for whatever they were about to spring on her.

BANG!

A loud explosion came from back room as smoke began to billow from under the closed door. Feeling glad she'd closed the store to business she raced towards the door hoping that her boyfriend George and his twin brother hadn't just killed themselves. "Are the two of you alright in there?" Hermione called through the door coughing at the smell of the smoke.

"Whatever you do don't come in here?" Fred's voice called out.

"Please," George's voice chimed in.

Something was definitely wrong. Fred and George never said please unless Molly was around. "I'm coming in," Hermione called through the door reaching for the handle. She could hear a chorus of please don'ts and Hermiones coming from the other side of the door as they clamored to hide whatever had just happened.

The door opened to reveal a rather funny sight. The twins were both covered not only in honey but also a mixture of flour and feathers. The looked rather like giant human chickens which caused Hermione to break down laughing.

"What exactly were you two trying to do?" she gasped out as she regained control.

"It was supposed to be part of one of our newest joke lines," Fred replied trying to wipe the feathery flour off his face only succeeding in wiping on more.

"We're still working out the kinks," George finished plucking a feather off his arm and holding it out to Hermione.

"I think I might be able to help you with," Hermione told them a hint of laughter still in her voice as she walked back through the door. "But first get cleaned up boys you look like chickens."

I hope you all enjoyed Of Weasleys and Chicken Feathers.
