I couldn't help but think to myself: Who am I?

I also couldn't help flick my pencil onto the ground.

''Miss Sakura?"

Yep. That's me. My full name is Chorohota Sakura, and I am 17 years old. I just moved in to a new high school in Japan called Juuban High. It's a pretty strange name, but you get used to it.

"Can you explain all of these grammar errors?"

Considering I just moved to Japan, everyone speaks English to me. But through my ears, it sounds like she's speaking Chinese.

"Miss Sakura, we're waiting. You have failed this worksheet the third time."

My teacher seems nice at first, but she gets mean once she grows into you. Everyone calls her Haruda.

"Miss Sakura, if you won't give me an answer, you will have an automatic detention."

I gawked at her eyes, batted my eyelashes, then stood up and simply explained: "I guess I wasn't focused that day, Miss Haruda."

She looked at me, leaned on my desk, and hissed, "You better not mess up on the next worksheet, or that will cause another detention."

"I can't tell the future. But I'll try, Miss Haruda."

I hear a few snickers, but muffled ones. Then the bell rings. I guess that was the highlight of this class period.

"Choro-san! That was hilarious!"

I spun around. "Hey, Minako-chan!"

That's my one of best friends. Some people call her Mina, but I just call her Minako just to be sincere.

"Are you going to the prom tonight?"

Pause.

"Don't tell me you don't know!" she complains.

"What prom? If I did know, I don't even have a date!"

She glared at me. I know those eyes. Oh, no.

"I got you a dress. I didn't know what size you were, so I got the smallest, considering on how slim you are. You're a size 3, right?"

Ok, maybe I am a bit too slim. Hey, being the only person that's a little over one hundred pounds still sounds fat to me.

"Fine, I'll come. Is everyone else coming?" I asked curiously.

"Ami won't come. She's studying. Rei is staying at Hikawa Shrine."

"Is Odango and Mako-chan coming?" I say hopingly.

She gives me a look that says, Duh. You know.

If you're wondering who Odango is, her real name is Usagi. At first I had a feeling she won't come because she's still sad about her boyfriend, Mamoru, going to America for a year for college. But I guess she needs her spirits raised.

I check my watch out of curiosity, and said 10:15.

You think that's just a time, right?

Well, this says that I'm fifteen minutes late for gym.

I can already see it growing a smirk, laughing hideously at my face.

I rush to the girls' locker room, not caring who yells at me, who sees me, who I run into… Then BAM! Oh, man.

Ok, I take back who I run into.

I just ran into the lips and now lying on the floor with the 'cutest' boy in school, Seiya Kou. But I hate him.

I quickly scramble out of his arms, horrified, as he flashed his cocky smile.

"Hey, Choco-san. Why the big ru-"

I run off in the middle of his sentence, leaving his words drifting in my mind.

10:25.

OH MY GOSH, I'M TWENTY FIVE MINUTES LATE!

I take off my shirt while I'm running into the locker, and put on the gym uniform.

I also had to take off my skirt and put on a gym use only undergarment (?).

I practically almost demolished the doors as I nearly slid on the floor while also doing some sort of a back flip and a somersault.

"Sakura-san!" my instructor yells across the gym, echoing endlessly.

"Hai…"

You won't believe what he made me do after that.

He made me run around the gym 50 times and do a ballerina routine!

Well, I'm good with the running, but the ballet, not so much.

All I remember during that session is everyone laughing, even my so-called-friend Minako.

I walked into the girls' walker room, with HIM behind me.

Yeah, SEIYA KOU. THIS IS ANNOYING.

"Choco-san, can we talk for a minute?"

Sure, unless he wants my fist to kiss him instead.

You see, out of all the girls at our school, he likes me. I do like someone, but it's not him. DEFINETLY NOT HIM.

"Choco, please listen."

I turned around with a look of disgust, and sneered in his face, "Listen to what? Flirt with me?" I did not care who was watching, I needed to let it out, and I also did NOT care if someone called me the Twinkie Twig, like I was called in my elementary years.

"Fine, Choco, but please, I really need to talk to you in private, formally, and respectfully."

What?

I didn't really understand what he meant, but after I changed, I went into the 'attic'.

For my 15th birthday, he actually made a secret room for me and him in the attic with a secret code.

"Chocolate Cheesecake," I responded quietly inside the speaker.

"Password correct. Welcome, Choco."

I only come in this place to beat him up, if he is giving me sweets, if he will help me with my homework, or if it's something really urgent.

"Choco let us sit."

I saw a table for two with a leather couch in a corner, and I sat down with him.

"So, what is this urgent thing you needed to call me for during gym?" I asked filled with wonder.

"I was going to ask you, urn…" I heard him stutter as he reached down to lightly grab a bouquet of flowers.

Like I said, what?

"Would you please come to the prom with me?"

Um, no? Is he out of his mind?

"Please, I beg you Choco, I need you to come. All of the girls keep asking me out, but I want to go with you. Please, just this once, Choco?"

As he used my nickname, I worried and thought about it. He did sound sincere about it, but I wasn't convinced.

"And my birthday is today too."

Oh. That makes sense. It is his birthday, so I should do it, or it's going to spread rumors…

"Fine. I'll go."

He nearly squeezed me to death as he hugged me, kissed me, and swung me around. Trust me, it wasn't pretty.

As I walked out, I remembered I had to call Minako for the dress.

I softly put the phone up to my ear.

"Moshi Moshi?"

"Urn, Minako, I decided I am going, so can you drop of everything for me tonight here at 5:30?"

"YEEE! Of course I will, Choro-san!"

"Ok, but can you at least tell me the contents of the dress?" I asked as I walked down the staircase that lead to the main floor.

"I remember that it had frills and a lot of bows, I think the one that you really wanted at the Wedding Shop."

"Really? Awesome! I don't know how t-''

Then BAM! I bumped into-

Into…

Syaoran Li and Sakura Kinomoto.

No, not now!

"Are you all right, Chorohota-san?"

First of all, I am worried because Syaoran is… really… cute.

"I-I'm fine, Li-kun," I exclaimed as he offered his hand. "Say, do you mind if I call you Sya-''

As I slid the tip of my fingertips onto his palm, I heard a very familiar, annoying, squeaky, and high-pitched voice.

"GET YOUR HAND OFF MY SYAORAN!"

It was not Sakura; I know that for sure, it was the girl who had purple hair that copied Odango's hairstyle.

Ugh. Meiling.

"What, Meiling?" I heard Syaoran asking in an annoyed tone as he defended me from her.

"He was just helping me up, it was just a mishap. Sheesh, I'll go now."

But before I walked away, I went up to Sakura, "Are you going with Li-kun?"

"Yeah, he said yes," she whispered softly into my ear.

"I'm glad. I least I am not the only decent one GOING." I spat in Meiling's face.

"NANI?"

"What? Can't deny the truth?" I asked sarcastically to her.

I watched her stomp away with Syaoran sweat dropping and being dragged behind her. I could care less of how she thinks of me.

As I dusted of my leggings and skirt after falling, I walked away triumphantly.
