I don't own Pokemon, Bulbapedia, or the reason you can't traded (In the GTS, anyways) bulbasaur in Black and White without a nickname.

It was a sunny day in Raubaslub Town, as a black haired girl lying on a bench at the park was playing on what looked to be a Game Boy Advanced. It was a golden pikachu one too.

As the girl's mucky grey-brown eyes focused on the screen, which was showing a her magikarp named 'Pie' battling a wild zigzagoon, a different blond haired girl ran over to her with a hyper expression on her face.

"Annabell, Annabell, Annabell, you'll never, ever, ever guess what I found out about bulbasaur!" The girl speed-spoke, the black haired girl, Annabell, sitting up to make room for her friend on the bench.

"Okay, so," The girl started, sitting down and starting without giving Annabell a chance to talk, though she was still leveling up Pie. "I was on the internet and I was looking at the page for Bulbasaur, and I found out that you can't trade a bulbasaur in Black and White in the GTS without a nickname because of something about bad language, or whatever, but don't you think that's cool? I mean, there's almost nothing interesting about bulbasaur other than that and the fact that it's the only starter poke that in the first evolution is more than one type!" She continued, speed-speaking until she stopped, as if to hear what Annabell had to say.

"Well, Villa," Annabell said to her friend, Villa, saving her game. "I think that bulbasaur is adorable, and that it makes up for it's so called. 'boring-ness'." She reasoned, setting her GBA down.

Villa blinked. "But still, don't you think it's weird, I mean, why couldn't they, like, do something about it, I mean, if they can change a Pokemon's typing, why can't they change it's name? Or at least do something so you can have a un-nicknamed bulbasaur!"

"They can't change the name, it'd cause an uproar, they can't change the programming thing-y because it's too late, and you can nickname it 'Bulbasar' without a U, or 'Bulba', or 'Bulbasur' without the A. Not many care, because most of them have a Pokemon to breed with it, and all they want is the Pokemon, or the level, either way I don't think it matters as long as you have the Pokemon." Annabell said, Villa making a face.

She squinted her eyes and spoke, "I don't think everyone is either a breeder or power battler, and besides, someone could be doing it to get their favorite Pokemon!" she argued, crossing her arms.

Annabell blinked and looked at Villa.

"You wanted an unnamed bulbasaur didn't you?" She asked, Villa pouting as she shook her head.

"I can't trade my Bulbasaur."

This is not meant to bash Bulbasaur (I'm saying that because of Villa's comments). If it was I would say very stupid things about it, but I didn't, plus, I think it's cute. Especially May's with it's hearts on it!
