"…You know you didn't have to be that close to me Grimlock." The Autobots had just came back from the mission in DC and Optimus found himself alone, walking the halls with Grimlock of all mechs.
"What? Optimus afraid of me Grimlock?"
Optimus just sighs, exasperated and not really willing to explain the exact reason why it bothered him to have Grimlock that close, pressed up against him. He shakes his helm to clear those images and decides to be evasive and hope the T-Rex drops it, even though he brought up the subject in the first place.
"No Grimlock. I am not afraid of you." Almost to his office now, if he can just get inside and lock the door…
An arm halts his progress though, and he is shoved up against a wall. Optimus looks up and sees Grimlock's face close to his. He tries not to squirm, not wanting to show his discomfort to the Dinobot. "What are you doing?"
Grimlock retracts his facemask and visor and gives the Autobot leader a curious look, and presses his own body snugly against Optimus'.
"Me Grimlock does not have to answer you Optimus."
Narrowing his optics, the semi-truck pushes against the Dinobot's chest, trying to get away. Grimlock would have none of that though, and pins Optimus' servos over his helm with one of his own. The other servo travels along Optimus' helm and finds a hidden button along the side. He pushes this and the red and blue mech's battle mask slides open.
Embarrassed and angry now, Optimus struggles even harder to get away from Grimlock and into the safety of his office.
"Grimlock. Stop this now or-" Lips descend upon his own, and Optimus stares in stunned surprise into the T-Rex's yellow optics. Before he can properly respond, Grimlock pulls away and licks his lips, a smug look forming over his face.
"Ha! Now me Grimlock can shut him Swoop up!"
Optimus just stares back dazed, processor not fully comprehending the situation being that it was stuck on replaying the kiss over and over again. The Dinobot leader smirks at the red and blue mech's dazed expression and lets him go, activating his face mask for him. He gives Optimus a final kiss and struts off, his mask and visor firmly in place again.
A few breems go by with Optimus still leaning against the wall in a daze. Ratchet and Sideswipe just so happen to be walking by and give the semi-truck a confused look. "Optimus, you know your office is just a few feet from you right?"
Said mech just barely nods at the CMO's question and continues to stare off at nothing. Ratchet just shrugs and moves towards Optimus, intent on moving him into his office himself. Sideswipe takes their leader's other side, and the two get him into his office and into his chair.
"Optimus, what happened?" No answer, and Ratchet frowns and smacks the red and blue mech upside the helm.
This jolt's the semi from la la land and he finally focuses on his surroundings. How did he get inside his office? Optimus just sighs and resists the urge to thunk his head against his desk. Sideswipe wipes a knowing smirk off of his face when Optimus looks at him and Ratchet.
"Ah, no need to worry about me. I just got a little too caught up in my thoughts."
The medic snorts in disbelief, but lets it drop and drags Sideswipe out of their Commander's office. Before the red Lamborghini is fully out the door he winks at Optimus and mouths 'Grimlock'.
If Cybertronians could blush like the humans do…
…In the Med-Bay, First Aid is seen hitting his helm against a berth as Grimlock boasts to Swoop about pinning and kissing the Autobot leader. He knew that him and Swoop shouldn't have been kissing where any mech could have seen them.
