Hi guys! This is my first fanfic.I do not own Kuroshitsuji only my oc's. If I did then Sebastian would have gotten slapped in the face already.
Chapter one: Tossed away
Silver manacles were clamped around the wrists of a young woman, weighing her down and reducing her speed, and thus her chances to escape.
Her blue eyes glared daggers at the robed figure in front her, who pulled the chains from time to time, as if to tell her to move faster, a feat which was almost impossible. Another robed man walked in the rear, holding a large sword.
She was on her way to a trial. A trial whose judgement would decide whether she lives.
or not...
The white marble walls of the courtroom reflected the mighty glare from the sun. If anyone else stood in her place, they would have been dumbfolded. But not her. She grew up in these cursed grounds, and everywher she went, it was white, white and more white.
No surprise there. It seems her fellow angels enjoyed the colorless shade. But not her. It made her feel more like the outcast she was, the freak. She could never fit in there with all that unbearable white.
While her bretheren sported pure white wings, hers was jet black, like someone someone dropped her into a mound of coal, which stained her wings permanently.
She had a more logical explanation, though, but was too ashamed to admit it. The two angels led her to an elevated platform in front of the jury table. On it was seated a tall, gaunt man, with silver hair, and an expression which resembled vineger. beside him was a severe looking female, with wavy blonde hair. Finally, to the silver haired angel's right, was a an old man who wore the robes of a saint. Unlike his two companions, he wore a kind smile and had no intention whatsoever to toss her into hell.
On a shorter note, he was defending her. It was Peter.
He had discarded his responsibility and left the pearly gates just to come here. The black winged angel never knew why he was nice to her. It was he who showed her how the mortal world worked. But curiosity got the better of her, and disobeying a direct order from the archangel, she descended to the mortal realm. And thats how she got herself into this mess. She saw the humans emotional lives, of how imperfect they were. Some things they did shocked her, but her curiosity took over her self control and made more frequent visits to the mortal realm.
The trial soon commenced, as the silver haired angel spoke her treachery. An angel wasn't supposed to rebel against the higher ranks. This ruined her reputation, if she had one in the first place, that is. She wasn't given a lot in the first place. She was kicked and spat upon. And most of all, she had no real name. The others gave her insulting ones, only they sounded more like titles.
Spawn of the devil was a wonderful example, in the angel's perspective. But definately not hers.
Yeah, it was pretty obvious that they hated her for what she was. To herself she felt normal, but in their eyes, she was a stupid hybrid.
"You disobeyed a direct order from the archangel, not once, but a countless number of times. So, those in favour of sending her into temporary exile UNTIL she learns to cure herself of that rebellious nature of hers. " the silver haired angel croaked.
The girl's eyes widened a little, due to shock. They really did hate her...
The blonde gave a small nod and declared:
"Those in favour of the exile, say aye. "
They waited with bated breath when ,
"Aye"
"Aye"
"Aye"
"Aye"
The hall aoon erupted into a flurry of loud affirmations, causing complete chaos. Then they turned to St. Peter, who said one word that sent the girls spirit soaring:
"Nay"
The angels gave him looks of utter confusion. But the old man's decision didn't waver.
"You're vote is clearly out numbered old saint. This... scum (the girl flinched on hearing this ) shall be tossed into the mortal realm, stripped off her powers and wings-" stastarted the silver haired angel.
But at that moment, a sealed scroll fell on his head. The young angel nearly gave out a loud chuckle, but bit it back.
The scroll was the judgement from the almighty. It was hastily unfolded and read. The angel's fac3 paled and then cleared his throat.
"The great lord seems to have other plans. The young girl won't keep her wings, or her magical abilities, but shall be allowed to keep her superior senses, speed, agility and some of her strength. during the exile. "
"I accept the judgement. " the young woman said for the first time during her trial."
The silver manacles then pulled her through the floor, as she fell towards the mortal realm.
A searing pain on her back confirmed on the confiscation of her black wings. It died down after a few minutes, and she closed her eyes, waiting for the impact.
Emily tramped through the tall grass, pushing a few reeds aside, to make way. She could hear the clumsy footsteps of her two comrades blindly trying to catch up with her.
Night had fallen, and it was pitch black, making it hard for her to see. The sound of someone tripping could be heard and she gave an exasperated sigh. A few moments later, two dark figures lept towards her. One was taller than the other, around six feet while the other to the shorter side.
"Matthew, do you have a witch light on you?" asked Emily.
"Yeah.."
And a few seconds later, their faces were illuminated by an eerie blue light. The taller man had startling grey eyes and spiky white hair. The sshorter man, or rather teenager, Had brown hair, tied into a ponytail. His brown eyes were wild, and a cut on hiss cheek affirmed that he was the one who feel in the grass.
"Don't you think this is a waste of time, Em? I mean, what if you're wrong. For all we know, we might not find anything..." he said.
"Don't say that Anthony. LasLast thing you wanna do is make her mad." the white haired man, Matthew stated. His female companion nodded, brushing back an orange lock. Her green eyes glimmered before walking towards a faint line of smoke, taking the witch light with her.
Anthony gave a sudden squeak, before running after her yelling
"HEY DON'T LEAVE US IN THE DARK, YA BIG MEANIE!"
Matthew only chucked before following his comrades through the grass.
They finally found what they were looking for, a large crater. In the middle, a petite figure could be seen, with raven hair and a white robe.
"Holy shit, you were right!" gaped Anthony. Emily only smirked before sliding into the crater and beckoning to Matthew.
"She's out cold. We need to carry her back and see to any wounds.
The white haired man nodded and followed Emily into the crater, gently picking up the girl. They left soon after.
The young angel slowly opened her eyes, to see a few blurry faces staring back at her.
"She's awake! " said a relieved female voice. As her vision came into focus, she saw a a woman with fiery orange hair and green eyes giving her a kind smile. Next to her was a teenage boy, around fourteen with an exited look plastered over his face.
"Great! You're awake. You were knocked out for days, and we were getting a little worried... well at least Em and I." he said, giving a tall white man standing in the corner of the room a dirty look.
The angel was now confused.
"How did you find me?"
The orange haired woman, Emily smiled some more.
" A streak of Blue light was seen in the sky. I had a feeling it was a fallen angel."
The angel felt her insides tighten with fear. The woman across her seemed to have noticed her expression. She patted her hand reassuringly.
"You don't have to be afraid. We simply came to you for...er how do frame it...recruit you into our mercenary guild. As you can see, you aren't the only one with crazy powers. I'm really a witch. Anthony here is a changeling and Matthew is a warlock."
Okay, now she was definately confused.
"I can't join. My powers were stripped away."
The faces of the three mercenaries frowned.
"So you were pushed, not fallen?" asked Anthony.
The angel nodded, and the bext hour was spent explaining how why and when everything happened.
Her tale left their jaws hitting the ground.
"Black winged...incredible" muttered Matthew. "You must be a hybrid of an angel and...DEMON."
"So COOL!" cried Anthony. The angel's eyes widened. The man had revealed what she really was and a kid thought it was the best thing he ever heard. Humans were crazier than she thought.
A few days had passed after that, and the young angel now joined the band if mercenaries with a new name gifted to her by Emily, Isabel.
So now Isabel had to go through bone breaking training sessions with Matthew and even found out why they were afraid of the witch.
But that was another story. But now she had to see what she could do to bunk her training
So that's the first chapter!!! Woohoo! Please please please comment.
