Her heart was broken,
torn in two.
So it was true,
he hadn't loved her.
She had suspected something,
he wasn't very careful in hiding it.
But Elphaba?
Her bestest friend?
Well, it certainly explained a lot.
His nervousness around her,
the increase in studying,
the list went on forever.
She hated him for it.
Sure, you can't stop love,
but run off with your Fiance's best friend?
That was just cruel.
She hated Elphaba too.
How dare she take Fiyero!
She didn't deserve him,
she didn't even believe in love!
Why the sudden change in heart?
And why him?
Of all boys in Oz, why him?
Was it because he loved her back?
"No Glinda, it wasn't like that"
The liar, it was.
Behind her back, the whole time,
and they hid it from her.
Poetry...I love it. Especially if it doesn't rhyme! I'll admit this was pretty dark, but it seems to match up with what Glinda was probably thinking. Please review and tell me what you think!
