My name is Bella; I have long brown hair, big brown eyes and am very pale. Some say dead looking.
Because of recent events, I am moving from my mom's house in Phoenix Arizona, to stay with my dad Charlie, in Forks Washington. It's a really big change from being in the heat to; cold, dark and wet. I guess that's why the split, just too different for each other.
My life in Arizona was ok, I had friends. Sort of. I mean I talked to some people and sat with people at lunch, but not anyone I have ever done anything outside of school with. I am naturally really quiet and try to stay out of people's way. No one would talk to me much, there's nothing about me that stands out. I'm not shockingly pretty or talented or really bubbly like other girls. I'm Bella, take me or leave me I am who I am.
Right at this moment I'm sitting outside the airport waiting for Charlie to pick me up. He can't be that hard to find, he drives his police squad car. I look down the street and cutting down the middle of traffic with lights flashing is a police car.
Charlie skids to a stop right in front of me and cuts the engine. Popping open the trunk, and steeping out.
"Hey bells." He says with a hug. It's been so long since I have had a hug from him. Too long.
I follow him to the car and settle my bags in the trunk then slide in to the passenger seat next to him already turning on the ignition.
" So Bella, how's school been?" he asks looking intently out the window like he was looking for a speeder. Comes with the job I guess, always on duty.
"Its been good, how's forks?" I ask trying to change the subject from school.
"hasn't changed a bit since you visited when you were 6" he say, I could tell he was lonely hear and missed me.
We stopped talking for a while I was busy looking out at the small town I will soon call home.
