"I'm not joining Carla, Pri." His timbre bordering between irascibility and minimum surprise. The J'avo frowned beneath his mask as he watched the higher ranking J'avo standing out in the rain in the dead of night. The man was dressed in his ruined BSAA uniform, energy glowing a bright blue over his entire body. Thunder would roar and Piers would manage to get a thrill from the lightning striking down upon him. Never had Pri witnessed the virus being able to sustain the high voltages of mother nature herself. The light died down and the half human sighed in contentment. "Feel like? Power? Lightning." Pri asked tilting his head questioning. Piers stepped back and turned to face him, smirking.

"It feels strange honestly. I like to do this when something is bothering me or to see how the virus is bonding with me." Piers replied. Pri made a noise close to "Ah" and said in return, "I go away then." He was getting ready to leave and drop the question all together when Piers jogged in front of him. Since they had met, Piers had formed a close bond with him and often enjoyed his company on nights like this.

"No, don't leave silly! You're not what's bothering me….It's what you said that has me feeling funny." Now Pri blinked a few of his eyes questioning him. Poor thing forgot just that fast what they had been talking about. The sight of Piers controlling that power was the best thing he had seen in his new life. But Piers always kept denying him the enjoyment of seeing his full mutation. He had caught a glimpse of the males' eye awhile back but he managed to conduct himself. He would be a much better master than Carla…Because Piers would deny being master of any of them. To Pri, Piers was always trying to find ways to help him talk in full sentences, got him a new mask and clothing. When Carla asked about these new things, he had to lie. No matter how much Piers denied joining Carla, Pri would never tell her about him. A friendship he valued.

Another rumble from the clouds and Piers was once again bending the strikes and controlling where they went. And like a ghost, it dispersed. Safe again to go near Nivans, Pri tapped him on the shoulder, slightly smiling under his mask. "Piers say no if I ask him about mutation?"

"Piers say no." He denied with a grin of his own.
