A/N: I was trying to sleep and this popped in my head. So, I had to write it in order to be able to sleep. Hope you like it!
Her hair is radiant, even though the stars are the only light at the moment. We're on my balcony, Sam's in my arms. Neither of us are wearing anything; all we have is each other and a nice, warm quilt to keep us warm.
We must've slept out here all night, since I can see a little light on the horizon. Sam's lying on top of me, my arms around her waist and her head is pillowed against my chest.
I feel her snuggle against me a little; she's starting to wake up. I place feather light kisses on her neck, causing her to sigh contently. Her eyes flutter open and she turns around to look at me. She's gorgeous. She has a small smile on her lips. I kiss her and she eagerly responds.
I end our kiss after a few moments, and turn her back around to face the horizon. She rests her head against my neck, and I lean mine against her cheek.
The sun is just peeking over the horizon, the sky turning gorgeous shade of blue, pink, and purple. She sighs again and she totally relaxes against me.
We sit like this, just watching the sun rise, comforted by each others arms around us. I watch her more than I watch the focus of her attention. The sun rise is reflected on her face, making her even more beautiful. Her hair appears to be the colors of the sky, and it's oh so appealing.
The sun's all the way up now and she rolls over, facing me while still on me. Resting her head against my shoulder, she wraps her arms around me and gently caresses my back.
She turns her head slightly and I can feel her breath against my neck. She traces symbols onto my neck with her tongue. D-A-N-I-E-L. I kiss her on the skin behind her ear. She sighs. I move my head so that I'm breathing into her ear. "Glad you're awake."
She pulls her head back and captures my lips. Glad, indeed.
