This is a S+M friendship fic. Sorry for all you S+M fans but in this fic it is implied that Sano ismarried to Misao and Megumi to Aoshi.

She waited; he hated to see her wait when he knew that even when she waited the one she waited for wouldn't come.
"Megumi, are you alright?" He said.
"Huh, Oh I'm fine Sano thanks for asking," She replied back.
(Aoshi why did you have to make her wait like this)thought Sanosuke.
"Megumi, you do know that Aoshi is not going to come today, don't you?" He said.
"Why is that?" She asked already knowing the answer.
"Because Aoshi said that he would be gone for three months, it's only been two."
"So," Megumi said getting angry, "he could come back early."
"Calm, down Megumi, your right even though it's highly unlikely he could come back soon."
"I'm sorry Sano it's just that I really miss him."
"I know you do."
"Sano," She said.
"Yeah,"
"How is everything going with you and Misao?"
"Well not so good right now."
"Sanosuke, what did you do?"
"Misao had put one a brand new kimono she bought, and she asked me if she looked fat in it."
"Sanosuke Sagara you didn't!"
"I wasn't paying attention and I said, yes."
"Misao must have been really angry," Megumi laughed.
"Yeah, her kunai went flying." Sanosuke laughed too.
"Well," Megumi said, "it's getting late and I have to take care of Aki."
"Yeah, Misao wants me to take her and Sakura to the Market Place"
"I'll see you tomorrow."
"Yeah, see you tomorrow Megumi."
"Sano,"
"Yeah,"
"Thanks, for being there."
"Anytime Megumi,"
