The Kiss
Author's Note: This is a short little thing I found in my drawer that I wrote long ago and I thought I might as well type it up. I wrote this fic before I had even seen any other anime besides Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing. (Not that those are bad, just that Ranma and Fushigi Yugi are better) anyway, I know it probably sucks but please review it anyway. ^_^ I have another fic that is a spin off of this (kinda *.*) Called Minako's Day, If you like Mina/GW in the Ranma world kinda stuff.

"Minako! Minako!" Duo yelled to his girlfriend through a crowd. Mina jumped up and waved, her long blonde hair falling in wisps about her face. Duo shoved through the people and finally reached her. "There you are Mina! I almost thought I'd lost ya in all these people." She grinned and took his hand. "Well we're together now. Look, we're almost at the front of the line to get in. I can't wait!" Duo threw his long brown braid over his shoulder and laughed. "This is supposed to be the best theme park anywhere, so, of course, it's really expensive. But that's ok, I'll pay." Duo turned to the cashier guy. "Two please", he said. The guy silently pulled out two tickets out of the register and handed them to Duo just as there was a loud commotion behind him. The bewildered Gundam pilot turned around quickly, whacking the cashier with his braid. Duo's jaw dropped. On the ground, Mina sat in a huff, staring, no, glaring into the barrel of a gun, held by none other than Duo's best friend, Heero Yuy. ''That was MY penny." Heero muttered evilly. "I saw it first." he added, clicking his gun to load it.
"I don't care if your saw it first mister gun-man! I picked it up so it's MY penny!" With that the sailor scout of love and justice stood up, leaned over, and kissed Heero Yuy right on his nose. He fainted, and his gun clattered on the ground. Duo raced over, tickets held tightly in his fist. "Mina! Are you ok? Heero?" he asked, squatting down next to his unconscious pal. "Are you still alive?" Heero sat up quickly, holding his head. When he spotted Mina he jumped to his feet and backed away. Mina picked up the gun and stowed it safely in his inside jacket pocket. "Heero, are you ok, buddy? This is my girlfriend Mina. I don't guess you've met before, huh?" Heero frowned more than usual. "No girl ever dared kiss me before." he muttered. Mina, taken aback, latched herself onto Duo and filled her eyes with fake tears. "Oh, Duo please forgive me…it was only in…self defense!"
"I believe you. C'mon, lets go. Nice seein' ya Heero. Bye!" Duo and Mina set off to the park, leaving Heero by himself.
