The electrifying Tiles of Zachary Burner

(first fanFic so don't bash me so bad if it stinks) Every legend has its beginnings, some grand, some small... this is the latter, this story is about the new rookie trainer Zachary burner and his trusty Pikachu named volt who is like a brother to him. watch him battle, make friend, and grow as both a trainer and as a person.

Hello everyone, sorry for the long wait. I'm sure someone out there is a bit mad at me for not responding in a year or two. Let's just say school and broken laptop don't mix XD. Anyways, let's get this story on a roll! (side note, when something is in italics it means they are thinking it, when its Bold italics its narration)

Our story takes place in the region of sinnoh, a mountainous place where volcanic areas and be near areas as cold as the ice age. We start this tale with a simple young man sleeping in his bed in twinleaf town dreaming of Pokémon adventures, today is the day he gets his Pokémon license to fulfil his lifelong dream of being the best trainer in the world. "ZzzzzZZzzz" the young boy was snoring as he laid motionless on his bed. "Volt, I choose you…." At the foot of the young mans bed was a Pikachu trying to sleep in, but the yellow mouse's trainer kept snoring and kicking him lightly, as the Pikachu was just about to fall back asleep he is kicked off the bed as the boy nearly yells "Volt! Use thunderbolt!" the Pikachu gets on the bed with a hint of anger in its eyes 'Yeah, I'll use thunderbolt!' the small mouse Pokémon said as its red cheeks start to spark and light up as a current of lightning shots off them and targets the boy sleeping as he is shocked and falls off the bed looking like burned meat. The boy get up as his hair was all frizzy from the shock from the little electric mouse. "what the heck was that for!?" the boy said to the Pokémon who gave him a high shock. The Pikachu give a small smile and looked at the boy "come on, you know I couldn't shock you…" they both looked at each other before both burst into laughing, until the boy looked at the digital clock on his nightstand and nearly panicked. "ohh arceus! We are going to be late!" The boy jumps over his bed and rushes to his closet to find some clothes, the Pikachu sighs deeply knowing this meant no sleeping in "what's wrong Zach? What's got you up and jumpy?" the Pikachu jumps off the bed and to the side of the boy's leg as he throws on some pants and a grey tee shirt "because Volt! Today is the day I become a trainer! You know I been waiting for this for years!" the Pikachu named volt hops onto his friend's shoulder as he smiles "than what are we waiting for?! Let's get this show on the road!" the Boy nods as he runs out the door of his room and out the door in breakneck speed to the professor's house. (end of Chapter one)
