Marco and Star left the local supermarket with pepper jack, cheddar, asadero and quesadilla cheeses and all the Banagic Wands the store had.

"You're still into these, Star?" Marco asked.

"A little bit of banana, a little lot of magic!" Star sang, holding out her purple wand.

Marco sighed. "Never mind. Let's go home."
As Marco turned the key, the car started and the tail lights came on, but the headlights didn't.

"Ah, great!" Marco said. "How are we going to get home? I don't feel like getting stopped by the cops. Wait, maybe I can call my auto club."

As Marco reached for his wallet, Star tapped his shoulder. The pink hearts on her cheeks turned into glowing green left and right arrows.

"I can help you home!" Star shouted.

"Hmm…" Marco said. "Won't we still get pulled over?"

"If you ask me," Star said. "This will decrease our chances of getting stopped by 10 percent. Do you wanna leave now and have 10 percent more risk? Huh? Huh?"

"I guess not," Marco replied.

"You just tell me the turns and I'll control my blinkers!" Star poked the arrows on her cheeks. "Let's go Captain Marco!"
Marco backed out and drove home.

"Left turn," Marco said. Star's left arrow blinked repeatedly as he turned left. After Marco made the turn, the arrows became white glowing hearts.

"Brake," Star's hearts glowed bright red as Marco stopped, coming to a red light.

During one of their traffic stops, Star kept playing with the screen in Marco's car. Her blue eyes widened as she discovered the different features.

"Y'know, even after two years on Earth, this magic still impresses me!" Star said. "I mean you can't make calls on a carriage on Mewni! Wait does this mean my mom can call me from here?"

"Star, can you keep it on maps?" Marco asked. "I'm still trying to get the hang of driving home."

"Oooh...there's music?"

Star tapped on the music icon and found an electronica song. She started waving her hands in the air and shaking around in her seat.

"Star? Star?" Marco shook Star and she saw that he was about to make a right turn.

"Oh! Sorry Marco!" Star as her right cheek showed a flickering green arrow.

Marco was relieved to get home without getting pulled.

"Phew!" Marco sighed. "Didn't think we could get away with it. Thanks Star, you saved us again!"

Star giggled. "No need to thank me, thank magic!"

Just then, a police car pulled up.

Marco sighed. "Really?"
The officer walked up to Star and Marco.

"Excuse me, kids," he said.

"How can we he-"

"We didn't do anything wrong officer man!" Star shouted. "We weren't using the turn signals on my cheeks! It was, it was, it was, it was Jeremy Birmbaum! Oh wait he's not here…"

"Ma'am," the officer said, "you're not in trouble."
"Oh phew!"

"But I did see you using those turn signal things on your cheeks."
"Dang it."

"No, no, don't worry! I was wondering if you can turn your cheeks into sirens. The ones on

my squad car broke this evening."
"Oh yeah!" The arrows on Star's cheeks turned into loud spinning red and blue sirens. "I fight bad guys too! Let's go!"

Star accidentally unleashed a giant white furry fly with blue eyes that trashed the police car.
