Hello! Hoh my gosh, I haven't written anything in a while, huh? I have another one-shot to add to the Edgeworth x Franziska pairing! Yesterday (April 13) was my birthday, so I wrote this for myself. I was listening to a whole lot of Beatles songs lately, so... ta-da! This song really spoke to me as an "Edgeworth x Franziska" one, so this came out. I hope you enjoy!

Based on the song "Something" by The Beatles. (Look it up; it's an amazing song.)

Miles Edgeworth was reading quietly, waiting patiently, with a picnic basket on the floor next to the chair on the porch of his summer home. After the shade of the porch, the sun shone warmly while a slight breeze blew the pink cherry blossoms romantically off of its branches.

Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me

He looked up from the book and gave a questioning look to his radio. He was listening to classical music, and now, suddenly, a Beatles song was playing.

I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

His thoughts drifted away from the book and attached to the lyrics of the song. Who is this "her", anyway? Oh, right; this song was made so it could fit any man trying to think of the woman he loved.

Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don't need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me

His thoughts drifted once more and landed on the "her" in his life—Franziska von Karma. He doesn't even know where these romantic feelings came from, but they came, and they adhered well to his ice-slippery heart.

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

He realized a truth and a meaning in the song. It was a simple love song, but its meaning struck him so well. Franziska had her own style that attracted him to her, and she was just naturally sexy. No matter how many times they were separated, they still managed to come back together, inseparable.

You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around now, it may show
I don't know, I don't know

Slightly nodding, he agreed and wondered if he could actually collect the courage to ask her out on a date. Yet, he knew that if he stayed long enough, then love would be able to prevail.

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me

Again, he thought about her whip and her words that would constantly lash out at him, and he enjoyed it. The way that she would sit on his desk seductively while leaning over and showing him details from a file annoyed him but pleased him. Just another reason to safely affirm that he is in love with Franziska.

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

And after a lovely instrumental, the song ended. He certainly didn't want to leave her, not when he was feeling like this. He sat a little straighter and told himself that he would confess today. At that moment, Franziska stepped out of the cozy summer home. She was absolutely gorgeous.

She was wearing a yellow, low-necklined, spaghetti strapped dress that complimented her turquoise blue hair. The sundress was long and flowing, and elegantly flitted in the wind whenever it blew. Holding the brim of her sunhat and making sure it doesn't blow off, she asked, "Are we ready, Miles Edgeworth?"

He smiled and nodded. "Yes, we are. We'll go under that pink cherry tree over there."

"Very well." Franziska walked over to Miles and clutched his arm. "Off we go, then."

As they sat down on the blanket and set the food out, Miles, with a blush forming on his face, started to talk. "So, umm... Franziska..."
