The fear

(Spoilers if you haven't finished the anime!) 'And I… don't want that…' Taiga's worst fear had come. She was alone again, and Ryuuji wasn't going to be around anymore. Taiga didn't realize how deep her feelings for Ryuuji was until he walked out of that apartment, and Taiga suddenly had the urge to catch him. To have him stay for her own selfish need of not being alone anymore.

Taiga felt the tears stream down her face. She felt this horrible feeling in her heart.

Why? Why did she let him go? Wasn't that the complete opposite of what she needed? Of what she wanted?

Taiga stumbled up. She needed to catch him. She needed to make him stop. To come back.

Taiga needed him. She wanted him to stay. She…loved him. She really loved him. But he didn't love her…

She ran out into the streets, looking both ways and seeing he was already gone. That's when she couldn't take it.

She fell to her knees and broke down sobbing.

"R…yuuji!" she wailed.

He couldn't be gone…he wouldn't just leave her…right? That wasn't the Ryuuji she knew.

And as she sobbed, she was positive that she was alone again.
