A storm is coming in my heart. I can feel it...

All was quiet tonight in Kohana. The birds went to sleep with everyone else, the only things that were awake was the moon, and two shinobi named Sakura and Sasuke. Sasuke walked the solitary stone path out of the village. I have to leave. Sasuke thought as he heard the only sound of the night. His footsteps. He had allot to think about sound, he was going to the sound village to train with Orochimaru. He knew the risk that he might be Orochimaru's next body but he had to risk it because he only cared about revenge for his kin. Well that and a certain pink haired kunoichi named Sakura, he had to admit it to himself. In the past months he caught himself daydreaming about her cute face. But if he stayed here then he's putting her at risk of being attacked by Itachi. Itachi. Sasuke thought bitterly. I'll make you pay for making me leave her behind. He slowly made his way to where He and Sakura had first really talked as she appeared from the trees. She had a sad look on her face as he closed his eyes to block it out as he walked around her. Sakura bit her lip. Please don't leave. She thought as she turned around.

"Why?" She asked hoarsely, he stopped.

"To gain power." Sasuke said simply though his throat was clogging. I'm sorry, but if I stay here then Itachi will come for me possibly. I'm not risking your life.

"But Kakashi – sensei could help you!" She yelled scarcely. Don't leave me alone, please. . . She thought silently.

"I can't." Sakura's eyes widened then smiled, closing her eyes. Don't look like that. He beaconed mentally. I want to – with you but I can't. It's to big of a risk.

Sasuke-kun don't go! I want to be with you. Sasuke squeezed his eyes shut. I can't because of him.

"I'm sorry Sasuke-kun. But please don-" Sakura's vision of Sasuke disappeared and felt his presence behind herself.

"Sakura." He paused for a moment to put his thoughts in order, put ended up gently ----ing her neck a bit. "I have to. But I'll come back. I promise." Sakura suddenly felt dizzy and tired, then everything went black. Sasuke caught her in his arms and looked down at her angelic face. "Sakura." He said and laid her on the bench were they first spoke face-to-face. He was about to disappear into the twilight but noticed something. Sakura had a few tears rolling down her cheeks, he wiped them and caressed the skin. "Goodbye, but I'll see you soon." And he disappeared and once he got to a hill that overlooked the village he turned back to see it one more time.

"Are you ready to go?" A voice asked and Sasuke had a few doubts. But it seemed like someone else was talking for him in his voice. Then everything was so distant, like he wasn't himself. Someone was doing things and talking for him but it wasn't his words.

Sorry it was short. My next one will be longer...
