Author's note: A short little story from old Miley Stewart's POV.

Long time ago in Malibu!

Hi, everyone!

My name's Miley Ray Stewart. Here I am, a 67 year old lady. I'm in a chair by the fireplace in my brother's house in Nashville.

It's a little sad to be an old woman. My hair is grey and my skin's not as smooth as it used to be. On the other hand, my life has been good and I wouldn't change a thing. Not even the bad things. Everything I've been through has made me the woman I am today.

My dear husband John died a few years ago. Oh, man! I miss him so much!

When I lost John I left my home in Malibu and moved here to live with my brother and his wife. My daughter Jennie is a doctor in New York and she's doin' great. Maybe she'll have a husband and kids herself one day...

Jennie comes here to see me whenever she can and I enjoy those times.

Sometimes I wish I was young again. No too young, of course. Maybe in my mid 30's or something like that.

I haven't seen Lillian and Oliver for three years. The last time I met 'em Lilly was in her last year as a teacher and Ollie was about to retire from the police department.

Aawww!

I hope they are okey...

I should call them and see how they're doin' these days.

Lilly, Oliver and me used to see each other so much back in the days. It's odd that we don't have that everyday-thing anymore. Guess ya can't stay in the past forever, huh...?

What do I do these days, ya wonder?

I still play the guitar. Not on stage or anything. Just here, at home with Jackson and Sienna. I also read a lot of romance-novels.

Sometimes I ride my horse, White Gloria through the nearby forest.

That's it!

Have a nice day!

Bye!
