The Reason Behind the Fat
By Lavendar Brown
Dudley Durley had always been a thin boy, sporty and averagely populer with his peers. He was involved in all of the activities that the school hosted, and a few that were given by from the local recreation Department. All in all, he was an average seven year old boy.
Until his fatful 8th birthday.
((-*-))
"Thank you Mum, Dad, for this sweet birthday party!" Dudley told his parents. Dudley, along with his parents and all of the students at Ryhanna Grade School were at the local water park, enjoying Dudley's birthday in the 85 degree temperature.
"Your welcome Dudleykinns"
"Dudley, are you going to open your presents yet! I want you to see mine! Then we can eat the cake!" Piers Polkis, Dudleys rat-faced friend said.
"Yea Dudley, the cake looks really good!"
"Please Dudley!!"
"Okay." Dudley responded to his friends pleading looks. Walking over to his dad, he asked 'Dad, can we open my stuff now!?"
"Sure Dudley, call your friends."
Dudley waited a moment while all of his friends gathered around the table mounded with presents.
"Which one should I open first!!" He asked the group.
"Mine, mine, pick mine!"
"No, pick mine its better!"
"Open mine, its an action figure!"
"Mines better. its pokemon cards!"
"Er.." Dudley looks over the packages and picked an oddley shaped parcel. It was wrapped in neon blue wrapping and stood out against the rest.
Dudley tore the paper off of the gift and discovered a movie, a package of stickers, a box of crayons, and a gameboy game. "Thanks!"
five sets of Pokemon cards, thirteen action figures, three gift certificates, one computer game, three movies and a finger skateboard later, Dudley game to the last gift, a simple small white envelope.
Sighing, wishing it were something bigger, he opened it up to find... A blank page?
Flipping it over, he examined it, the envelope, and the table around where it had been. Finding nothing he crumbled it up and threw it away.
Thinking nothing about it, he and his friends dove into their cake.

Dudley woke up the next morning feeling slightly different.
Standing up, it felt a lot harder to stretch and he had a hungry feeling that he had never had before.
Walking to his closet, (very strenous) he picked out a pair of sweatpants and a baggy sweatshirt. As he tried to pull the normally large sweatpants up his thighs, they would barely go to his waist. When he finally got them there, they dug into his skin, feeling like they were cutting off his circulation.
He decided to go down to breakfast in just his boxers.

Please review. Ill post the next chapter in a little bit, but only if whoever reviews says its good. Anyhoo, this story is about Dudley being a nice guy, until his birthday when someone sent him a letter with a charm on it that made him sweel up into the Dudley we now know. He obviously gets jealous that Harry doesnt get bulky, so him and the Dursleys treat Harry like crap.. Anyway, just review if you want to see the end.
