A calm night filled with emotions. Emotions of happiness, sadness, joy, pain. Everyone was so excited and worry free now that sin was gone. The bringer of death sin is now destroyed. People were laughing and smiling. Others sit and greave over their lost loved ones, and try to remember their faces. People were dancing and shouting, they were having a good time. They didn't worry about sin anymore. Neither did I, I knew sin was gone for good. The only thing I wish I could have back would be Tidus and Sir Auron, both the best guardians any summoner could have. They both meant different things to me, Auron I looked up to as a godfather or a close friend. Tidus I looked to as a friend, and even something more.
I stared into the fire, watching the flames dance with the light flow of the breeze. I listened to the crackle of the fire, I watched the bright glow it emits. I was having a memory of the night in Macalania, the night I was kissed by Tidus. My fingers found their way to my lips and I slightly smiled. I think that destiny brought us together…for just a few moments. A few moments of pain and that of joy. I remember his laugh, his oceanic blue eyes. His dark skin and how it felt when he touched me. The thing I remember most was his smile. A smile that made me stare, a smile that made me melt. A smile that made me weak at the knees, and most important….a smile that made me fall in love with him.
It seemed in these past two years all I've been doing is having memories of our pilgrimage. Where everyone was together, and not apart. Where everyone yearned to hold someone's hand and take away their pain and suffering. But those glorious days are over, my friends have gone their separate ways. Lulu and Wakka are still in Besaid with me, but Kimahri went to Mt. Gagazet to see if he found any survivors. He also went there to help build and repair what damage had been done. As for Rikku, she went to rebuild her home along with other Al Bhed's. So only three are together now.
I lured my eyes away from the fire and looked at all the people. I saw Lulu talking to an elderly man, and Wakka was with the blitzball team. Oh that's another thing that has benefited from the death of sin. Blitzball has become more popular then ever. With two new stadiums being built. A stadium is to be built in Zanarkand, which Zanarkand is now almost fully repaired and rebuilt. Another stadium is going Guadosalam. I have been pretty busy overseeing all the repairs. Paperwork is handed to me everyday, they hope for me to complete it overnight. It just gets very frustrating when your everyone's heroine.
"Yuna you wanna come watch us practice?" I jumped. I stared at Wakka, "Wakka you scared me." "Hahaha, sorry ya? So what do you say Yuna?" "Actually Wakka I think I might be going to bed soon, I have a long day tomorrow." "Oh yeah that's right, well sleep tight Yuna!"
I waved as he walked away with a blitzball in hand. Lulu came and sat next to me. I smiled, "Hi Lulu."
"Hi how are you feeling?" "Okay, tired mainly," "Yes I would imagine."
I stood up and gave a yawn, I stretched my arms, "Off to bed now are you?"
"Yes I'm afraid so, I'll see you tomorrow Lulu." She nodded, "Night," "Goodnight."
I entered my hut and laid on my bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day…
Ahh yes past memories its nice isn't it? Anyway be looking for chapter two soon, please read and review.
