There is not any fanfiction for this awesome movie. So I will make it my job to expand it.
I'm a big Audrey/Edward Fan.
Enjoy.
The car bumps along, he is impressed by the sureness of her actions. The knife slides through her clenched hand, cleanly and swiftly. It's very sharp apparently.
"I need you focused."
Edward closes his eyes, he can't convince her otherwise but he does will his senses to be immune to the melodic quality of her blood hitting the bottom of the paper cup. He uses the threat of sunlight to keep him pinned to his seat.
It's an excuse but it's all he has and his resolve is slowly disappearing.
A rag efficiently covers her hand as she leans over the barrier of the front seat. "Here." Audrey forces it into his hand and he takes the cup with great hesitation.
He is tempted to toss it or leave it but the fact that it is her blood makes him not want to waste it even if it means drinking human blood for the first time.
He doesn't want this, he never did. He wants a cure. He wants to not want to bite her and drain her or worse bite her and beg her to kill him after he sees the pity in her eyes. The sadness that no doubt is already in his eyes, one that is present in his reflection if he could but see it.
He detests the weakness that comes over him, the inhuman impulse that is overpowering his rational and scientific mind. The smell of the warm gooey substance invades the car and his small place in it and he's so close to just giving in to its heady substance.
He wants it so bad but he can barely manage to hold the cup to his face. Edward shakes a little as he finally spies the red madness that waits him, contemplating how to justify to himself that she bleeds herself to insure he won't kill them all.
But how can he resist with it so close and willingly given? How when she is looking at him like his survival is vital in a way that has nothing to do with the safety of the human race.
"I need to know that you will be ok around them," she gestures to the untouched cup in his hand. "Drink."
Edward finds that he can't say no to those dark eyes so he puts it to his lips and drinks deeply. It's oddly intimate to sample her life while she looks on.
His fangs elongate and his gums stretch in pain as the ruby liquid spills into his mouth and down his gullet.
He grimaces as he is bombarded with images of pulling Audrey over the seat and into his arms. Images of him sinking his teeth into that column of skin while she writhes to get away, while she gives in and is turned into the monster he is.
Edward pulls the cup away catching Elvis' accusing stare. The man's mouth thins into a line in the mirror and Edward sits back and away from her.
He had not realized that he was leaning towards her. Her dark eyes look curiously at him. They show no fear only a fierce reassurance that he is safe with her.
Audrey continues gazing at him for a moment then Elvis says something that forces her to answer. He keeps the cup in his hand, his finger tracing the rim of it. It comes away with a single bead of red.
He touches it to his lips savoring the taste and he wonders just how long he will last with this woman who has woken up a man darker than the vampire within.
